[Guide] How I read a book in 10 days?

Just had an idea. Why not get a pdf version of the book, segment it into multiple emails then set it up to send 5 emails a day every 3 hours which consists of like 2 A4 pages per email..
But it will take a lot of time

Lol, did you just say that as the OP admitted to a bad habit of reading emails every 5 mins? :)

Could possibly set it up with a bot like UBOT if the pdfs are converted into html pages, then segmenting multiple pages on autopilot..

i m little bit bore when i read a book , but i love see tutorial video :)

Why do you want to do that?

To use your addiction to your advantage lol. If you’re addicted to reading emails every few hours and not willing to spend a long time on pdfs, then convert the pdfs to emails and send every few hours to yourself as a constant behavioural training..

At that rate you’ll read 10 pages a day. I usually check my email on the toilet or just at idle moments, so I’ll try set this up lol..

Or you can break it up into half page chunks so you can check every 20 minutes or so as you usually do + the notifications will keep you in check..

But this will cause your addiction to grow, it will not help you in the long run.
It may sound amazing, but....
Everything can not be used for doing everything.

To each, his own I guess but sure was a good one Mr alien :)

On average I read one per week, mostly mysteries and thrillers

If only I can read books like I read posts on BHW...

If you want to read a book in a few days, I would leave technology and internet apart. That will give me 100% focus on what I have to read and even make notes about it :P

Audiobooks, lots of time is waisted during commute or when traveling, even on our daily walks or when we're doing boring repetitive work that only being handled in the background of our brain

You could call this a life hack and use it for a lot of things.

Easiest way to read a book is to go to youtube or audible and listen to the audiobook version of the book at 2x speed using your headphones.

I've read dozens of books (each hundreds of pages long) I otherwise wouldn't have read thanks to that method.
seems like you just read those books, never studied

To all the people thinking that reading isn't beneficial: When I went to elementary school, I used to read every night for about 2 or 3h (depending on how much the book was interesting). I had developed a skill to pick up information so quickly that today(and I stopped reading when I went to 3rd grade of highschool thus losing the skill) I am in wonder how that was possible at the time. I remember having an awful teacher in history class that expected us to know everything at every single point of school time. She literally said that if she were to wake us up at night we must know every year ( a bit harrassing if you ask me ). So i took my time to get the best grade so she wouldnt be hard on me( as she was hard on the students that didnt have good grades ) and in 3 days, YES 3 DAYS, I learned over 300 pages. I knew every event, every year, every name of greeks ancient history. Every fact, even the latin texts that she had a fetish on. In only 3 days! So overall, that is a lot of info you can pick up in a short period of time, and I think this is great to anyone who works with information on a daily basis. Reading books is a must for business as well
