Hello BHW,
As we all know, investing in yourself and your business is great.

But, we don't know how to start.
In this thread, I will guide you through the process.

#1 Use your addiction for advantage -

We all have an addiction, to check our emails every 5 minutes.
But you can use this addiction for advantage.

Just do this simple step-

# When you wake up in the morning, commit to yourself that, you will read first then check your emails and notifications.

#2 Now, it may be a problem for you as a beginner, so use the Pomodoro technique.
See the GIF below for reference-

Do at least 2 Pomodoro sessions, before doing any other task.

See the screenshot from the app I use-

I use this app [no affiliate link or any relation] - TIDE [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.moreless.tide&hl=en_IN]

Trach the number of pages you can read in an hour. This way you will know how many hours you need to complete the book.

For ex - # If you read 20 pages/hour and the book contains 300 pages,
# Then you need to give 15 hours to complete the book.
# As you will be reading for at least 1 hour/day using the strategies above, you will take 15 days to complete the book.

Hope this short guide will help you.
Thanks.

I think reading books is overrated. Better to wake up and do medition or Run.

Easiest way to read a book is to go to youtube or audible and listen to the audiobook version of the book at 2x speed using your headphones.

I've read dozens of books (each hundreds of pages long) I otherwise wouldn't have read thanks to that method.

Yeah, you can definitely follow that.
But if you want to read a physical book, this will help.

Do you have a guide of how to read a book in 1 day? I have a short attention span...

Nice one OP. But always remember, better to learn and apply the book in 2 weeks than just read in an hour :)

Yeah, application will typically take longer.

I love reading. I try something from here

Just had an idea. Why not get a pdf version of the book, segment it into multiple emails then set it up to send 5 emails a day every 3 hours which consists of like 2 A4 pages per email..

But it will take a lot of time

Why to read a book when I can use youtube videos for everything?
