Question: Are there tools/workflows for identifying what javascript variables Distil/other use to identify you as a bot?

I do have a workable/code-able understanding of mtmproxy and javascript injection.
I'm a little lost on how to discover the detection variables that will (eventually) be overwritten.
Or, is it more a matter of trying different combinations...and see if you get through....which is also a workflow...i guess

Is there a workflow/toolset/book/site that starts you down this 'discovery' path?

Thanks in advance as it's woodshed week for me.
