236k page asking $3000

Yes, he says he is in dozens of these groups

50% is US UK CAD AUS and 50% Is asian. Its a private account, still gets 30k views on every video

30k views for 230k followers is nothing. Can you PM me the account so I can check, maybe it can't get to explore...

It is a private account. So i think 30k is decent. Its just from the page itself i think. ;) sorry i cannot pm the page now. Im about to buy it. If i don't, will pm you the account for sure :)

Private page growing 2k a day.... hmmmm

+ Those engagement groups are useless if profile is private.
According to him, he says 100k per month. He showed a screenshot of May 17 and he had 200k and now its 236k.

Make sure you were contacted by the actual owner of the page.
He is talking with me from the actual page. So no need to worry about that

Still can't figure why would it be private with engagement groups.
Maybe he paid for shoutout or something, but sounds odd...

FB pages have been severely nerfed and its extremely easy to fake stats. Lots of page owners are looking to dump them because its really hard to get any traction anymore on a page.

Unless you have a VERY solid game plan to monetize this page, I wouldn't give more than a few hundred dollars.

Ask him for a few test posts first to test engagement and CTR and DEFINITELY use an escrow service. There is plenty of scammers in the FB selling business.

TLDR; I personally wouldn't pay more than $200-$300 for that type of page. $3k is extremely overpriced.

Source: I own a few gaming pages with a few million likes spread among them. They are basically useless now

Pay attention. OP is buying Instagram page (not Facebook) and this discussion is happening at Instagram forum subsection.

Ah you're right. I don't know why I thought he was talking about an FB page. My bad

Idk maybe he was talking about his other page which was public

I think 3k dollars for +200k account with +50% asian people is a bit expensive but if you know how to make money with this just try

Act like your going to buy and agree on a trial period. See how your able to monetize within that trial period.
Use that trial period to evaluate the account.

Instagram engagement is still high unlike Facebook. I personally think it's a good deal if you have a solid plan to make money from it.

Ask for a test content placement to see if it is legit

Check out the complete metrics for the account, Ask for all the business insights.

If talking 3k I would request that a trackable link be placed with a general CTA, for a week or so, that way you can see the traffic and metrics on your end

What is the agreed upon method of payment? Did they ask for wire transfer/western union? Or like MisterF said will they agree to use Escrow? At a minimum I would like to see a paypal NOT friends and family payment method so you have SOME third party appeal system in place, even though Paypal can be very difficult for digital items and maybe accounts are not even supposed to be sold on Paypal.

Are they an established business? Can you get a telephone number to call them? What happens if you Google the telephone number? Can they show you their personal social media pages and show you can ID to match, like a Facebook account? It's a lot of money to me, so I would ask for everything. If they are honest, I don't think they will give you any problems. If they are shady scammers, they will just act like someone else is going to buy it and you have to act fast or miss the opportunity of a lifetime.

You can also offer like $1500 and pretend you are going to walk away from the deal, if they accept, you know it's more likely a scam. They already dropped their price $200 so they don't have other people looking to buy for that price.

Think a lot before you do it... If you think it is good then move on and invest money... if you think it is bad then drop it out... But the deal is much better
