Greetings,

I am trying to decide lately if i should buy the paid version of Malwarebytes. I already own Bitdefender and it was wondering if it's necessary to buy Malwarebytes, perhaps to cover a few holes that Bitdefender can't !

So i'm not sure about this approach, that is why i would like to know your feedback and the advices of the experts.

Thank you

There is a free version, depends on your usage, for casual user dont even bother

In the past 10 years i do not think if i used anything else to Malwarebytes. You do not really have to buy Paid version. Check limited version.

Use free trial. If not try for cracked. Buy it if you want to support the devs.

I know many will disagre but now in 2019 i find those antiviruses and antimalwares softwares useless and overrated,i'm using windows 10 for almost 3 years using just windows defender and nothing ever happened to my personal or work laptops.

never EVER use a cracked antivirus
Cracking their corporate version is litrerly just putting a thing on your hosts file, after your first scan it will popup as a malware "dontstealoursoftware" and you can just ignore it

what I mean is never use an already cracked antivirus . If you can crack it yourself than by all means do it. however, if you download a cracked version of an antivirus you are just asking for trouble

What's your definition of casual user? I usualy work long hours daily with various clients for multiple projects. So i have sensitive and important data stored in my computer, so that is why security is very important for me to not get my pc comprised in any way

Malwarebyte is really great and it take cares a lot of things. If you are visiting sites that are infested with malwares, adwares, viruses etc you absolutely need a paid version. Free version is more than enough if your day to day work is limited to visiting well known and non-risky sites. Bitdefender is also very good but Malwarebyte is gaining in popularity. One thing that concern me is that there are lot of sellers selling illegal malwarebytes keys. Hope you don't fall prey though they really do work. My fear is Malwarebytes developers can track. So it's better to be safe than sorry later.

I just use free avast, it's been serving me well for years.

I don’t think antivirus are even a thing anymore specially if you know what you’re doing / downloading and all that sort of magical juju.

If you need genuine license for free i can gift you :-)

Pm me.

(I'm Sharing my personal license)

I’m using a combination of paid versions Bitdefender and Malwarebytes. Well worth the money.

Thank you so much guys for all your feedbacks. They are very valuable to me. I think i will just stick after all with the paid version of bitdefender and the free version of Malwarebytes, since i notice that bitdefender acts a bit like malwarebytes when it comes to detecting potential threat websites

Don't you have any compatibility issues between both of them ?

The major problem with a cracked antivirus is that you will always be running in an older engine and database, there is a reason why their databases are updated daily, anything is better than a cracked antivirus.
OP, the major difference paid Malwarebytes offer is real-time protection, but any antivirus nowadays must offer that, the best you can do is combining a paid antivirus + free Malwarebytes.

I am using avast paid version and doing great.
