I'm back from my vacation. Thanks to all who's been patient!

Issue resolved. OP was very responsive in trying to get the matter fixed -> Kudos to the customer service.

A full refund was made to me.

Just to explain the situation more clearly, I have worked with Chicago Tribune and Baltimore Sun countless times, as well as a few other publications from the list. The articles are ALWAYS indexed and often appear in the Google News section. The contributors I work with did not inform me that Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel are noindex. I did my own research prior to starting this BST and did not find a noindex tag on any of the articles I published for either of those sites. Even now I could not find the noindex tag for the two articles ordered by hippo123. However, both of them did not show up on Google.

For the inconvenience caused I had both articles re-published on two other publications while keeping the earlier ones live, and I also offered a partial refund. So the client was offered to have the following reimbursement:

It was $450 + $450 = $900 - 50% review discount = $450 paid for mentions on two articles

Sun Sentinel [live - noindex]
Orlando Sentinel [live - noindex]
Capital Gazette [live - index - FREE]
The Morning Call [live - index - FREE]
-$130 refund for the inconvenience.

So in total he would have received an article on Sun Sentinel, an article on Orlando Sentinel that are both noindex but still get traffic and good PR, plus an article on Capital Gazette and an article on The Morning Call that are both indexed and rank top on Google for their respective titles, PLUS a $130 refund for the inconvenience, so he would have paid only $320 for all that.

However, he refused this offer and demanded a full refund anyway. Since I already paid for all of these placements and they cost me more than the total paid by the client, there was no reason for me to take these down or remove his links. I wouldn't get my money back anyway, so I saw no reason to do this out of spite. I made a full refund to the client AND I kept all of these publications live with his links.

That being said, it didn't set me back much, but I certainly wouldn't want to keep losing my own money on this without a full appreciation of the services I'm trying to offer here. So no more review discounts will be offered.

Also, I will be updating the BST asap to notify future clients that both Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel are noindex. All other publications have been reexamined and the articles are guaranteed to index.

Interested in featured post, can you get from Forbes, Entrepreuer, Inc and others?

Yes, these are doable. I will send you a PM in a minute. Thanks for your interest!

I'm having an issue with the payment portal, I can't get pass through it. I entered my correct paypal account but it's redirecting me to an error page

PM will be sent in a minute. Thanks!

Hi Vlad, there's a slight misrepresentation of the story.

Out of 4 links that I ordered, 1 link couldn't be delivered and the other 2 links were no-indexed. So only a total of 1 link was delivered.

I didn't demand a full refund of all 4 links, but I asked for a refund of the 3 links that were not delivered/no-index. I didn't accept the replacements for the 2 links that were no-indexed.

This was a reasonable request, as 3 links were not delivered according to what was stated in the BST.

Out of goodwill, OP made the full refund while keeping the links alive. He was only supposed to refund for 3 links that was not delivered, but he refunded for all 4 links.

Just wanted to highlight my side of the story.

Yes that's correct, you ordered 4 links but I focused on the two noindex links because it was the reason you requested the refund.

Out of 4 links/mentions that you ordered:
- One was delivered accordingly
- For another one you were not happy that the article wasn't focused on your niche (otherwise it would've been published already), so I agreed to upgrade from a mention to a featured article free of charge and focus it entirely on your site/niche. I just asked if it would be possible for me to refund on PayPal and for you to resend the payment using a different method (because I was having problems with PayPal). Unfortunately you could only pay via PayPal so I agreed to issue a refund for this link in full and we'd just cancel that one.
- The other two articles on Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel were delivered accordingly, you're saying it like I didn't send you anything... but they did not show up on Google. So we republished them on Capital Gazette and The Morning Call free of charge. Because this was done by the same contributors, having the same article published on two media outlets is allowed. It doesn't stop Google from ranking these two articles at the top now. But you refused to have 2 noindex articles from Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel for traffic & PR, plus two indexed articles on Capital Gazette & The Morning Call free of charge, plus a $130 refund for these two for the inconvenience (mind you that two of these were sold for the price of one in the first place). You still asked for a refund and now you say that "only a total of 1 link was delivered" that's just not nice mate.

And yes, you only asked to issue a refund for the 3 links, not all 4. But you posted here publicly on the BST, so I tried to have it solved ASAP. I issued the refund in between flights, from an airport, from my phone, so I didn't care to count how much it was for the last link and the discount, I just made a full refund for all 4.

Hey Mate,

Again there are more misrepresentations.

I ordered 4 mentions that must be indexed:

Capture1.PNG

Capture.PNG

  • 1 Daily Press Mention That Has To Be Indexed
  • 1 Sun Sentinel Mention That Has To Be Indexed
  • 1 Orlando Sentinel Mention That Has To Be Indexed
  • 1 Capital Gazette Mention That Has To Be Indexed
The other two articles on Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel were delivered accordingly.

That's not true. You delivered 3 mentions, of which 2 (Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel) are no indexed. How is that delivered accordingly when all the mentions must be indexed? Here's are the 3 mentions which you have "delivered".
  • 1 Indexed Capital Gazette Mention
  • 1 No-index Sun Sentinel Mention
  • 1 No-index Orlando Sentinel Mention
  • The Daily Press Mention was mutually canceled
But you refused to have 2 noindex articles from Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel for traffic & PR, plus two indexed articles on Capital Gazette & The Morning Call free of charge, plus a $130 refund for these two for the inconvenience.

Without asking for my approval, you took the initiative to give me "The Morning Call" as my replacement mention+ a partial refund. The rationale is simple. An example: If I placed an order for an indexed Forbes Link, an indexed Forbes Link has to be delivered. If the indexed Forbes Link cannot be delivered, then either a replacement can be proposed (which you did) or a full refund has to be made. Wouldn't you agree that the customer has full rights to reject the replacement?

Which in this case, I rejected the replacement link(s) and opted for a full refund instead.

So I placed an order for 4 indexed articles and all I got was 1 indexed article + 2 non-indexed articles. Wouldn't you agree that it's reasonable that I asked for a full refund of the other 3 indexed articles that was not delivered?

@Mr Vlad, I thought we had resolved this amicably with no animosity via email. But the explanation that you gave here seems to indicate that I was an unreasonable buyer. Frankly, I am quite disappointed at how this turned out.

But you refused to have 2 noindex articles from Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel for traffic & PR

Of course, I had to request a full refund of the 2 non-indexed mentions.
  • What's the use of having these 2 non-indexed mentions for "PR & Traffic" when the sole purpose was link building? And I certainly didn't order non-indexed
OP then refunded me for ALL 4 links, of which 3 of them are because he couldn't deliver.
  • I didn't ask for a refund of ALL 4 links
  • I only asked for a refund of the 3 links that were not delivered successfully
I made multiple offers to OP to return him back the $$ for that single indexed mention that was delivered successfully. But he rejected this offer.

So @Mr Vlad, a summary:
  1. I ordered 4 indexed mentions
  2. 1 mention was canceled
  3. 2 no-index mentions delivered. Different from what your BST promised, which are indexed links.
  4. You offered a replacement mention + a partial refund for the 2 links
  5. I rejected this and requested for a full refund of the 3 links (1 canceled link and 2 non-index links)
  6. You made a full refund of 4 links, even when I didn't request for it.
  7. I even offered to transfer the payment of that 1 successful indexed mention to his friend's PayPal account, as OP's PayPal account was limited.
Again, I just found it strange that OP's statement that seems to indicate that I was an unreasonable buyer. But in actual fact, he couldn't deliver what was promised on his BST and I simply asked for a refund of the items that weren't delivered.

I would be happy to pay you back the Capital Gazette mention that was completed successfully anytime. Please drop me a PM or email me back.

I didn't want to paint you as an unreasonable buyer, sorry about that. I just feel like the service I'm trying to offer here on BHW doesn't fit the general expectation and requirements of the buyers.. Most of the interested buyers here are treating this offer as some authority PBN link building service for their affiliate sites... which it's not, it's far from that. I offer these services mostly to my PR clients outside of BHW, to legit companies. They pay $1000-1200 per article, even for Orlando Sentinel and Sun Sentinel, and I never got any complaints thus far. However, ever since I started this BST, many folks (not talking about you) are trying to get the cheapest rate they can and stuff their affiliate links, expecting an entire article to be dedicated to their niche when they're paying mere $225 for it, which is way less than what I have to pay to have these articles published.

I was honestly surprised when you refused to have two other similar (and indexed) articles from the same list offered on my BST, together with the two noindex articles that you could've placed on your own site for additional PR, plus a partial refund. In my head that was a no brainer option, I was so sure you'd be happy to take it. After paying for 4 articles at 50% off you would have received 3 indexed articles + 2 nonindexed articles + a full refund for one of the canceled links + additional partial refund. That 4th link was not canceled because I couldn't deliver, you did not want to proceed because the article where the mention was placed was not focused on your niche. I offered an upgrade to a full feature article for you free of charge, and only asked if you could resend the payment via a different method, which you couldn't so we then mutually agreed to cancel this last link altogether.

I should've asked you before doing this (and losing more money on my end for publishing the replacements), so this was my mistake. Again, I'm sorry that this happened and with the noindex articles it was an honest mistake. I still can't solve the mystery of why two articles without an actual noindex tag are not showing up on Google.. I'm already in the process of changing the BST and updating the FAQs and Terms to reflect this. I might even move this whole BST to a different section. I would like to end this with a handshake, and I do take the blame for not communicating with you properly and asking in advance whether you'd be satisfied with the proposed offer.

I've been working with @Mr Vlad on a Chicago Tribune feature and so far I am not only impressed with the quality of the draft article, but also the customer service provided.

For someone to be so responsive during their vacation time shows the level of commitment to their clients. Looking forward to seeing the final delivery.

Thanks again!

I have been working with @Mr Vlad on a Chicago Tribune feature and received it well within the TAT.

The link is exactly as described and not only that, but it was featured on a main topic page!

This was not a free review copy.

I am impressed with the level of service provided and will continue working with Vlad in the upcoming month.
