I have a query in relation to local SEO and how to rank for local keywords when you don't have a business there.
For sake of example - lets say I have a plumbing client in boston. Their main KW is 'plumber boston' (and it always will be) but they're now willing to expand their travel zone to areas like Middleborough and Attleboro.
Both around 90mins from Boston.
My intention would be to create an 'Areas We Serve' page with Boston, Middleborough, Attleboro pages as sub-pages and try write some reasonable content for those pages (that'll be a struggle).
Anything else I should be considering?
Blog post about plumbing supply/bathroom supply stores in those areas which link back to the 'Area' page?
Like a 'Best Bathroom suppliers in Attleboro' linking back to the 'plumber attleboro' page?
What do you think? Anything else I should do?
