cyberzilla makes a good point... A guide with tips on how to insure maximum delivery with your system would be good.

There are a few things I'd recommend on top of that...

Message spintax support - if this is already integrated then my apologies, but I've never seen it. I tried the classic {hi|hello} format and it didn't work. Goes without saying spintax support in messages is a priority.

Link spintax support - right now I don't see any way to insert dynamic links without sacrificing the first name column. You can add a link via your control panel, but the system just makes it into a single short URL, which doesn't look particularly appealing and it's bad to use just 1 URL when sending hundreds/thousands of messages in a campaign. We should be able to add a dynamic link from the 2nd column in the CSV with {{Link}}.

Send delay - not sure if your system automatically sets a delay between sending messages, but there should be an option where I can myself manually set the send delay in seconds between each SMS when making a 'Send Instant Message' campaign, even if you have a minimum default of 60 seconds allowed. This is one of the major ways to avoid getting blocked by the network (not sending too fast).

Those are my initial thoughts after testing the platform. It seems like a good start and with a few tweaks could be really good, especially if you start offering it in other countries. There's obviously a bunch of logistical issues with that, but I'm sure there's a big market for it

@indianbill007 Go easy on them bro. I'm also a noob when it comes to SMS marketing. It's one a kind service which we don't usually see here. When we did, we are really excited and wanted to try it badly. Let's accept the fact that there is no documentation of any sorts which explains how to use the service, There are no best practices, do's and don'ts kind of stuff shown to new comers.

It took a while for you to figure out what pricing structure works best for both you and buyers and to stop service misuse by newbies due to lack of documentation so I suggest you to have a clear instruction document with all necessary details to new comers. Even better you can add some case studies or have videos explaining the correct way to use the service. You can also list down all "what you shouldn't do" in your service thread as well as in service module. This will be beneficial for both parties.

For buyers, I suggest you to have some patient if you really wish to try this service. This is not a magical tool where you can upload some numbers and blast SMS and expect it to work. Trust me it won't! I have been learning this stuff for many days since I'm new to this. I made many mistakes too right from uploaded contacts to sending messages. Every time I face an issue, I simply ping their support team via Skype.

Trust me guys, they are really helpful. Some mistakes which I did is really stupid and they were patient in every aspect and helped me to sort of the issue. Their first level support is from US and I'm from India. A direct conflict in time zone. But whenever I tried to reach them during odd hours, someone at the end reply back sometimes even on Sundays! As far as I can see, they care about everyone who sign up and want all of us to utilize this service for best of our interest.

So if you are serious about SMS marketing, try the service and get help from support whenever required and get going. I'm just sharing few things which I have learned so far:

1. Spam never works with their service.
2. Don't try to send message with URL in your first message. Pitch them what you are offering with yes or no question. If they say yes, reply back with your offer and URL. There could be other ways, I don't know as I'm still learning
3. Make sure your lead is targeted and valid. Don't waste your credit with poor quality numbers.
4. Get in touch with support and find what kind of offers/verticals works best. In the last message OP mentioned, someone is using pay per call and making a killing! That's a key information. You can get such information and more from support.
5. There is an option to send message in Spintax format which allows your send same offer with different messages and shortlinks. Utilize the same to stay under radar.

This post sums up my exact experiences, the calibre of this service and the infrastructure required to run it is insane, you can't expect things to run 100% all the time. However when they aren't running 100%, the team is fast-responding and eager to solve whatever the problem is. SIMs will get blocked and it's part of blackhat SMS so the new pricing model is fair.

Once again, follow the above rules, no links in first SMS, clean data only etc and you'll have little to no problems, the service has gotten off to a rocky start, but they've worked hard and have fixed it up.

Thanks, guys for the vote of confidence, it took time to perfect this service and there was lots of lost money and frustration involved, please pardon my words if someone got offended by them. Looking forward to do business with you.

Unfortunately, the quality of support is lame. I don't recommend this service at all

It all makes more sense now, glad your back and its up and running. Hadnt even thought of the pay per call angle LOL!!

I checked the chat now, he sent you the country price list, also we don't have trials anymore. You need to pay for the sim to try the system. We can give you the device free for 3-4 days after that you need to pay the $50 for the device also. If you have any more questions you can ask me here, am happy to help.

thanks!

What type of offers work best with your sms platform? I'd love to give it a try

Ive read somewhere you posted Pay per call, but what niche exactly would you suggest to run?

Paypercall is doing great, sweeps, dating etc also doing great. just dont spam with links, send a link if someone messages you back, that works in most niches.

Can this service auto reply without the need of the customer saying a certain keyword for it to do so? And can it be set up to do multiple responses with a different response each time the customer continues to respond?

So i have been doing sms marketing now for about 8 months now and trust me guys it is a huge learning curve... Just like most spam tactics you have to think of how to get by the filters. and yes there are a lot of filters from carriers to servers and etc. I have made TONS of mistakes but it was all part of learning and spent a lot of money making those mistakes but its only a waste if you dont learn from it. If you continue to learn from it then its more of an investment. I have used these guys services before and in beginning I will agree it was hectic and not the best set up however the support team was great. They then fixed a lot of their bugs and issues and now have a gr8 service. So all the bad reviews were mostly likely in the beginning when they were just sorting out how to deal with a lot of newbs in the space.

I feel like they have sorted a lot of things out and now provide a gr8 service. But I will warn you if you are a newb take it slow because there is a lot to learn and SIMs can be burnt quickly and then you will have to pay for more SIMs to be able to send out more. If your SIMs get burnt it is your fault not them. All their service is sending what you ask them too and they do exactly that...

Now I will tell you I do not use their service anymore not because it wasnt good but because I have scaled it so much where its more cost efficient to send other ways. But if you are wanting to break into the space they are fairly price and they will help you break into the space.

Will I be able to bulk send sms to indian numbers?

Hello, I paid for service and support has stopped responding on Skype.. I seen that they read my message but just did not respond. Can someone please assist me? Confirm my payment etc...

Yo people!

Am glad to announce that we have upgraded our system, and launched FreeSMS 2.0.
If you are an existing customer of FreeSMS 1.0, you will get 25% Lifetime Discount on device prices for 2.0

For sales and support queries skype - sumit.gh2050, remember NOT live:sumit.gh2050 and not sunit.gh2050, these 2 are imposters scammers, look into the skype name carefully before adding.

I think I read that 1 device is capable of sending 1,000 messages per day, so let's say I want to send 5,000 messages per day. Do I need 5 devices and 5 sim cards, or 1 device, 5 sim cards?

Interested in testing this out.

sure, it's only $35 for the sim to try.

On skype, the support assured me you’re capable of sending 500 SMS per hour (per device/SIM) and that this is an update.
I’ve went through all of your 8 pages and haven’t read anything similar to this.
Could you update us? Because a change from 1000 to 12000 SMS per day per device and SIM is a significant change in price and limits.
Also what about bans / SPAM detection with your new change to send 500 SMS per hour?

Read the post it has been 1k a day per device from the get go same on the site

No, their support has assured me 500 per hour or 12000 per day is now possible (a new change that has been made).
However, this whole project and service seems suspicious, maybe any statement from @MisterF @Zwielicht @BassTrackerBoats would be useful as this whole thread is filled with negative reviews. :/
