I'm making this thread because I need an outlet and to keep myself accountable.

I've been working hard online for many years now, and I finally saved up enough money to buy my own apartment. When I buy it, I want to establish some balance in my life. Go out and live a little, start taking care of my body and health again, socialize with people, be normal I guess (but not all the way, of course haha).

My goal is 6 months from now, because I need about 6 more months to get all my affairs in order.

They are:

  • Take care of all payment processor related things (open Paypals, get the Payo mastercard, get a 2co account, etc)
  • Take care of all bank related things (family member waiting for a Visa card that I need)
  • Wait 3 more months to get money out of a suspended Paypal (they're holding a chunk of my apartment hostage there)
  • Go to the dentist, fix a few things
  • Go to a dermatologist, get a little something checked out
  • My drivers license is from a foreign country, go through the process to exchange it for a local one
  • Get all my money collected where they need to be and ready for purchasing the apartment
  • Find an apartment, buy it, take care of all the paperwork and procedure
  • Buy a car
  • Work Like Crazy and earn as much money as possible until then
I'm sure I left something out of the list, but that's the bulk of it. None of it solvable over night, you understand.

The next 6 months are gonna be lonely, stressful and prone to complications. But if I'm successful, I've achieved my goals and I've earned my right to live again! I'll have my own place, a nice business/income, a car, and then I can rest for a minute and decide what the hell I actually want to do with my life :)

I'm making this thread to keep myself accountable, and maybe get a few words of encouragment or advice along the way... some company to offset this fucking loneliness :)

Let's do this thing!

Please, when you get up, turn on your PC and open this thread to know that you have a goal that you must meet.
Do not lose sight of your goal even for a day.
Bonus: you can not be totally alone and stressed every day, that way you will not achieve your goal, it just does not work that way.
When you see that you need a small outing with your friends or your partner, go for a walk, return to work the next day.

Yes, this thread will stay in the forefront for me for the next 6 months, at which point, if successful, it will be closed :)

Not to say I'll update the thread all the time, just when I have news. Updating this thread with a "Problem solved" or "Goal Accomplished" will be like the final signature for that particular problem, like the stamp, it's done and over with.

I don't have any friends or partner. Yes, when i say I've been working full time for a few years at this internet thing, I really actually radically mean it to the extreme.

But 6 more months, and it's done :)

Sounds like a solid plan. Just make sure to take breaks when you absolutely have to. Don't wanna see you get burnt out 3 months in.
Best of luck my man

Thanks for the advice man. But no breaks, no breaks. I'll take a break 6 months from now, in MY OWN apartment, in MY OWN bed, where i inhale MY OWN oxygen that belongs to me (not rented oxygen) :)

Then I can take a break.

Hey i wish you all the best on your journey.

You will get there. Not because you can, but because you have to and want to. You will get there.

Having your own apartment is just something else. The feeling of that particular ownership is so liberating. Have the feeling of being liberated, close your eyes think about it. Everyday. Meditate that feeling.

But what is it that your doing to get your goals, you got a business running or a job that pays well? Maybe freelancing?

Hey thanks :)

Well, I'm not big on the whole "close your eyes and imagine it" business, but I believe the feeling will be exactly as you describe it.

Well, since you ask, I sell things online. It's not exactly a business, as it doesn't run without me present every day. It's not a job, as I don't work for others... but I technically work for my customers, so technically it is a job, sort of? Yes, freelancing... but not in the sense that I just run free and find my customers wherever. I have websites, people buy through them, we meet through them, we do business.

I don't know man. I'm a freelancer that works for his own business :D

I am waiting to see your 13k$ paypal outing my friend :D

haha oh man, me and you both buddy :)

But it's more like $12k on that one. Let's not exaggerate... I wish it was $13k haha :D

Explain us more about how is your plan to get there.

Good luck bro

Just keep working at succesfully acomplishing all ive set out to do.

There arent many foggy spots in my journey here, other than any unexpected complications that may arise.

I just need to do it all, and i cant rush it because i dont have a magic wand to make the world do my bidding. So it will take 6 months...

It will be hard but atleast you have a goal to achieve. Take it as a privilege and make things happen. GL

Buddy, 6 months is a long time tbh. I don't think that even top-entrepreneurs work that much time without small breaks.

However, best of luck with your goals. I hope you'll make it.

Yeah, will give it my all.

I won't be home for the full 6 months. I gotta buy groceries and pay bills and... um... go see about my license and go to the dentist and the dermatologist and stuff. I will be very very outgoing you see haha :D

Thanks man :)

It's been 2 weeks since I started this. Things are progressing nicely.

Paypal movement, not over yet.
2checkout movement, not over yet.
Dentist movement, not over yet.
Drivers license movement, not over yet.
Collecting money where it needs to be movement, not over yet.

I'm satisfied with how things are going. I keep on keeping on!

So a little update. Things are moving along. Its been 2 months since i started, and i have 4 months to go.

The BIG thing this month is that my 6 month Paypal jail expires and ill be able to get my money out. Thats at the end of the month. Im looking forward to that, and a little stressed out cuz the amount is about $10k. Are they gonna give it? They gonna make me jump through hoops? My bank gonna flip out if and when all this money comes in? Hmm..

Anyway...

I took care of 2checkout. Got an account, received multiple payments there, and they sent me the money on Payoneer. Very nice.

Got the Payoneer mastercard, taking out money from the ATMs. Very nice.

And i continue to work, slaving away 24/7. Had a wonderful month, earned 4 d000llars ;) but i am burned out, totally fucking burned out. But i have to perservere 4 more months, and then its all over!

So thats it. This is an important month for me. I keep up keeping up!

So here we are, 3 years later. I've kept this thread in my bookmarks all this time.

Everything is taken care of. Apartment, furnish the apartment, drivers license, car, money, work, money, all of that done and done. And it wasn't fucking easy!

I had underestimated how long it would take. But it doesn't matter, what's important is that it's all done. Well, let's say 97% done. There's still a few mickey mouse things I gotta do, a few more dollars and time and effort I gotta spend, but we're there :)

The health stuff isn't done with, but, one war at a time. I started this health war already, just haven't declared it yet I guess. Just collecting weapons and supplies and doing hit-and-run attacks for now. But I'm almost ready to go all in on this too.

I'm deleting this thread from my bookmarks and won't be updating it other than to reply to any replies, but let's say that I won here :)
