Creating a 2nd account? Opinions?

Hello guys, please bear with me here.

I have just opened a business (Beauty/Makeup store, physical location), and I also sell through Instagram (in fact, most of my sales come through IG). I have been in operations for about 2 weeks, and I have around 2k followers by now. Nothing fancy, just doing sales and collaborations/giveaways with other larger accounts.

In that specific account, I would like to ONLY have people that are willing to buy products, and ONLY post things related to my products; in other words, all the content I want to post in that (shop) account is available for purchase.

Now, I had the idea of opening a SECOND account, with the purpose of posting random makeup/beauty products content, and having a massive follower base, not necessarily interested in buying products, but just interested in makeup in general, and then promoting my shop account there, and therefore, my products.

What do you think of this strategy and how would you go about doing this?

It can be a good strategy, and if you are able to automate with bot you can create many accounts to promote the main account.

I’ve always used Jarvee, but certainly for a softer management (few accounts) maybe there are better solution, search in the forum because i don’t know about other software.

You can also create child accounts to promote either your second makeup account or your shop account. You can buy a pre-grown makeup account as well.
If you want to focus on your makeup store, I suggest outsourcing the management of child accounts, as learning how to properly operate IG automation can take time, and you'll be inefficient at first. But if you have ample time, you can do everything yourself...

If you are going to promote only your shop / ig page, isn't easier either buy account what already has decent following or buy shoutouts?

Ol' good strategy! You can buy a grwon account and start promoting your main account. I would take 10-50 new IG (child) accounts and I will start funneling the traffic to the main account.

Hello guys. Thanks for all the options here, but I think buying a grown account would serve no purpose for me, since I am located in Panama (Central America) and no one here sells grown accounts. This is not a business here; therefore, if I buy a grown account, I would have a bunch of followers from another country. Could I still achieve my objective? Remember, I have a physical store.

Another issue I might have is that my customers speak spanish, and most of those followers from that bought account would speak english. I don't know, sounds tricky.

Could I make this whole "buy a grown account" gimmick still work with these limitations? help a brother out. Thanks!!

Whole reason I ask is because this seems a really attractive option, so if I could make this work.......
