Twitter ERR with followliker

Kindly tell us if followliker fixed it. will switch to them if MP didn't fix it soon

I think they'll need a lot of time coz it's a lot of work. it's like they're creating a new bot. just hoping they will fix it much sooner

The source code of Twitter has changed a lot but it is not like creating a new bot (I think) because the most important part of the program must be the organization (databases), which should remain the same. The important thing here is that Followliker, Jarvee, whatever, realize that THERE IS A PROBLEM, and at least Followliker seems not have seen it yet.

He replied followliker , he says that they are currently working on an update

This exact error login problem has returned using FollowLiker. Have put in a Support ticket and have not received any type of reply back in 24 hours. Anyone else experiencing this? It has effected all of my accounts. Cannot login to any of them.

This all just started happening to me yesterday when I downloaded and installed FollowLiker's most recent version: 10.2.1

For some reason, about 8 of my twitter accounts were still working, but 23 accounts were not working on FollowLiker.

I just changed all my proxies because the ones that were working had a different prefix than the ones that weren't working. So I changed it all to the good prefix proxies. I stopped and restarted Followliker, and now I get ERR for ALL my twitter accounts. ?????

Also, been having problems with using FollowLiker for instagram too, for about 2 months or so.

So at the moment, it seems like my social media business is over. But things like this have happened before. It's hopefully just another bump in the road. This one seems bad though.

I am submitting a support ticket to FollowLiker now.

Same ERROR for me here as well.

Same problem here as well. I've been running 3 - 4 months with no issues. I updated, rebooted, changed password and nothing resolves it. I have a support ticket out there for about 24 hours now. No word.

Yup same issue here with us as well....really annoying. I've opened a ticket with their support but no reply yet. Amazing that with one other Twitter Bot, the issue was fixed in under 60 minutes

Can anyone update me when they get a response? Haven't got a response yet!

The real problem as I understand it is this.... this Twitter update/redesign layout update is becoming more and more of what you could call a "moveable feast" and they appear to be updating accounts in batches (albeit very large ones) and almost on a Data Center by Data Center basis. We run over 250 Twitter accounts and as each batch gets updates it appears that there are minor inconsistencies as if they are "tweaking" the design elements slightly as they update. This of course means that for software suppliers and App suppliers the problem is.... they could be in for a long list of almost interminable fixes.

I can understand this and from our perspective it's very frustrating but to be honest the guys from FL have always come good with updates and fixes in the past so I'm prepared to give them time it's just that....my clients aren't necessarily giving me that much time so we're starting to feel squeezed.

Better communication though would go a long way though. Our basic requirements are just simply, scraping followers and then following/ unfollowing so fairly basic...anyone got any other tools that reliably do this on a multi threaded basis?

FollowLiker still down. 48 hours now. No reply to any tickets. Just left us all hanging in the wind. Unfortunately, their reputation proceeds them when it comes to customer support. Some of the worst out there.

The problem they have is also a by product of the actual application. Throughout all the ups and downs of IM and Twitter etc I've always found that FollowLiker has...... always delivered but...their communication and Tech Support communication does leave a little to be desired but then again....

Having been in an Agency environment where you have a problem with your key product you want to concentrate on getting it fixed and sorted before you stick your head up and announce it is fixed. The downside of that is that....folks out there then start to panic in the absence of any communication.

Also their application is slightly more intricate than most and in all matters like this...it's very easy to add lines of code and then find at a later date the new code generates a conflict that you hadn't imagined would be there etc.

Finally...and this is not wishing to come across as an apologist or spokesperson for them....you have to remember that they are operating in an environment where they can't exactly ask for Twitter support or co-operation...that is also part of the problem.

It's not in Twitters interests to be forthcoming about any tweaks they make...they don't want any form of automation at all?

All they have to do is simply send out a notice via email or their own program stating they know their is a problem and they are working on it. Not even acknowledging it is the problem.

Agreed.... a simple post on their Ticket System would be cool. The problem is no one knows whether they are working on something or not?

The issue is twitter changed their encryption for tsl / ssl / https / certificates of whatever terms are correct. Some computers would handle this fine, but for some reasons I couldn't figure out, many machines just couldn't change to the new encryption protocol so the program will need to force this.

Luckily for us, I noticed this on Sunday whilst trying to sniff twitter traffic for an different issue I was investigating and the sniffer need to have it's protocols updated. So when the complaints came in on Monday, by sheer chance had an idea of what it was. Would have been a complete nightmare to figure out otherwise..

So, in the interest of friendly competition if anyones bot is still not working, contact their tech support and tell them to force support for all encryption protocols and make sure they support TLS1.2 as that is the issue. Then they should be able to get you a new build ready within the hour
