I would like to get involved with Day Trading with stocks. I would like to know what you guys recommend based off of user interface and easy to use, what trading platform/site would you recommend?
Thanks, please list below!
There are two good stock brokers, one of them is Thinkorswim, and the other one SureTrader (i personally do not like that much Robinhood).
Thinkorswim has great scanners, low fees but has PDT.
SureTrater has Okay scanners for experienced trader, higher fees but no PDT.
All in all, if you are starting and have captial over $25,000 (or $30,000 idk which one is now the PDT rule) then i suggest you to go with Thinkorswim.
Open an paper account, contact their support to get a live paper trading account and start learning how the market works. After you are able trading daily and stay in green (profit) move into a real money account.
Check out: risk - reward ratio, When to jump into a trade, when to close trade, cut your losess, stop loss, Stock Indicators, Stock signal... And mainly Psychology, your mind will be playing games with you, so you should prepare for it.
There are 2 great YouTubers what will teach you a lot about daytrading.
One of them is WarriorTrading and the other one is Ricky Gutierez (both have courses online, both courses can be find fully for free on downloading sites)
WarriorTrading, is trading more Stocks than Ricky.
Ross (WariorTrading), has amazing daily recap of his trades on YouTube, shows you why did he take the trade, why did he decide to stop - not buy etc...
Ricky on the other hand is trading most of the time (UGAZ & DGAZ - after you understand these two tickers (and similar) you can make some decent money), he is speaking very fast so for people who are not used to english language will take some time to understand everything.
Ricky has amazing community on Discort chat, it's like here on BHW you don't understand something, just ask and you'll get the answer almost immediately.
Definitely recommend you to check out these two guys.
Some of the great teaching websites: Investopedia.com ; Finviz.com (great online scanner - however it is more to use for people who are swing trading - investing long term.) ; Bloomberg.com & BloombergLive (news) ; Benzinga.com (news + you can learn something)
Main thing before you start investing - trading these money into a stock market. These money shouldn't be money what you need for paying rent, your lifestyle etc... It should be money what are just sitting in your bank account, and your life wont change if you loose them (most likely you are going to burn them in first month but the longer time you take learning the less money you are going giveaway).
