hey guys. I normally would put more effort into a post but I am just so unmotivated. just bare with me.

I have tried a lot. smm, smm panels, fba, affiliates, ecommerce, drop shipping, investing (in bitcoin), Instagram influencing, youtube and twitch (for a few years), email marketing for real estate, and even creating a clothing/accessory line. can you guess what they all have in common? they all failed. or rather, I failed doing them. im just so tired of trying, spending money, and failing at it. im falling into a hole. every time I try something new, I have less motivation to do it. after trying so many things, you can only do so much without getting discouraged and eventually you get ready to give up sooner. I understand why most people would say the main reason im failing is because im giving up so soon, but if you spent hundreds of $ on unsuccessful projects, and never get any results, wouldn't you eventually be prone to giving up too? its just depressing.

this is unrelated, but if you've noticed a theme, its because the majority of these are things ive seen on ads on youtube and me and my friends try to do and fail. all of these are things "gurus" try to "teach" because theyre so "successful", but really theyre selling you a dream so you can buy their course, and they basically set you up to fail. ive never bought a course from anyone before so at least I haven't thrown my money away in that regard, but my friends have and from reading what they got I could tell it was smart to not waste money on that. if I have any advice to give to someone, I would say never trust anything regarding making money that's ever came from an ad(which should be obvious) and that the second you see someone trying to sell you something in their "tutorial" you should just click off and ignore everything that person said up to that point, because its all just a sham to get you to make them money(less obvious).

this is not supposed to be a sob story, that is just to give you some context for my question so that im not getting answers that are something ive already done before.

I just really need someone to help me. I see all these threads on "how to make $___ a day/month" and theyre all different, I want to try one thing one last time. I am willing to do whatever it may take to make a few thousand a month, as long as I can see results. I cant stay motivated for months on end on a project while making $0 the whole time, especially if im putting money into it.

not that I cant be patient, I would just rather this be something that I can do fast. I know, obviously if there was "1 simple way to make 5k a month" everyone would be doing it, but BHW isn't everyone. from what ive seen, BHW is a thrifty community who knows what theyre talking about. I understand if theres a method you don't want to share because you don't want to lose out of your own money, but just a point in the right direction would be nice.

as I said before, this is my last straw. this is me calling out for help from the only community I know to go to. if I get no responses or if I try whatever response seems to be the best and it doesn't work, that will be it for me. I will quit trying to make money online ever again. I will just try to pick up a job like being a real-estate agent in a little while here.

so guys, please just drop your top (and preferably ethical) methods to making an extra few thousand per month.

ps, I am 17, so while I can obviously fake some stuff to say im 18, just keep that in mind. also I know no 17 year old needs "a few thousand a month" and youre right I don't, but I will need it at some point in my life to live on my own and im only working minimum wage right now so I might as well start sooner than later (ps ps, I would rather stay away from anything "adult" like reuploading adult videos ect, otherwise im game for whatever)

anything is appreciated.

edit: im not asking for advice like "go mow 50 lawns a week at $10 per lawn" because a) I live in a desert so that doesn't work lol and b) im looking for advice on how to make steady money (preferably automated/passive) online, and to be able to scale whatever it is im doing up enough to live comfortably or even one day become "rich" off of it or something else with the capital I make from it.

Sir i don't think this is how IM work...
But you can speedup the process by buying some services here, i have not buy any services but i think the services here are good.

You need right connections to make things work - networking! Work on your skills first, anyone can put a VA+1000$ - if only that's going to make 'em money.

As you're 17 - you got enough time to work on your skills. Pursue one thing - start doing - connect and talk to people in industry (Ex - Media Buying - AMs, other MBers, Networks, forums) - invest your time in those relationships. Those people's advice would way better when you stuck somewhere rather than a public forum. Then - TEST, TEST, TEST - Don't give up.

This is the problem with people trying to make money online. They straightaway target for thousands per month instead of hundreds. IM is not free money, you'll have to put your time and/or money in it.
First step is to set a realistic target. Second is to find a method that interests you and give it your best shot. There are so many methods listed here that require minimal investment. Aim for $100 per month for a start and once you see your first $100 you'll know you can make that $1000 by scaling up.
Good luck.

I don't understand are you saying that you have never made any money online? Because if you have then this thread is pointless and if you haven't then it's because you haven't threw enough stuff on the wall to see what sticks.

I know, but all of those "gurus" give such unrealistic results in their videos, that when youre starting off that's just what you expect to get/make, and when you get nowhere near that, or get nothing in the amount of time they said youd get something, you feel like you've done something wrong and want to quit. I understand its not realistic starting out, but its a goal id like to achieve at some point.

I have made some money here and there, but its never been a lot(meaning less than $100 a month) and its never been consistent, otherwise id take that ~100 per month and scale it up as much as possible. Ive spent more money on attempting different things to see what sticks/what im good at than ive ever made back.

Hey buddy, from what i can see.. You seem to know your way around words. Start with that. Be a writer. You can sell your words. Join Upwork/Fiverr . Bump up your post using the review exchange services. You can legit make decent money selling your words.

Save the money.. Create a website. There are tons of guides. You will have have two choice. You can either go with SEO + affiliate/ Cpa whatever.. Or PPC.

Nothing is easy.

Since you are 17. I suggest you go with SEO.
Its a skill which you will acquire which will be fruitfull forever. Set your mind to loose 6-8 months of your time before you start making any money.
But once you do. You will be in the top 10% of IMER. Now you will know how to make a website which can make money. SCALE!!. Make a shit ton more websites. This time use others help. You don't have to do all by yourself cause you know what works and what doesn't work.

So sum up - Get the seed money ( 3 months max) + Do Seo ( 6-8 months).. This can be done simultaneously and scale. You should be making your 1000's in around 2 years of time.

Nobody is goind to share there secret recipe . Just look at your competitors. Observe. Try qhat they are doing. If not improvise on it.

It is very important you stick to one thing and fail fast and learn things quickly.

Good luck.

I will consider that, thank you. I appreciate all the feedback from everyone so far.

Hey I understand I've made enough money online to sit back and do nothing and thought I had it made until my earnings dropped to only $20 per month I currently work a regular job and starting to make good money online again but not expecting to quit my job no time soon. It really helps to have a job while doing IM because that way you're not really stressed to make money.

If you don't mind me asking, what is it that you did/do? You don't have to give all the specifics or anything lol.

Normally I don't reply to these kind of threads because people that open them are not made for this business anyway. I'm gonna make it short and direct.

1. You're 17, way too young to be giving up on things or ruling out opportunities...

2. You want something that earns you a few thousand a month by putting in a few bucks? Think again. Be prepared that you are going to spend a lot of time and money trying what works.

3. Passive and/or automated income? Only comes from putting in the work initially.

4. Working for yourself as an entrepreneur is far from steady income! If you want stability, get a day job!

5. You have 9 messages on BHW and reaching out for a $5k/month method. Try and interact with the community that you are asking for help and you will learn why this question doesn't make sense.

Good things that you have is that you are well versed. So you should definitely start writing articles. This is in my opinion one of the easiest ways to earn money online. Other than that, you're 17 dude, it frustrates me that you already have a giving up mindset at this age. You should aim at becoming the best of the best... You probably still in school living with your parents which is great because you focus the next few years on actually mastering subject. EASY MONEY DOES NOT EXIST!
And be prepared for ups and downs in your entrepreneurship!

I'll be honest with you one day about a month ago I was tied of seeing the same old $20 a month being deposited in my bank so I decided to try Pinterest and ClickBank. I didn't really do nothing out of the ordinary besides pinning my ads. The first few days I didn't make any sales then I made a sale for maybe 18 bucks, it could have been 2 sales I forgot. A short time after that I could not believe my eyes I made $366 in one day from a product with upsells. Haven't been able to get the upsell again but long story short I've been making over $100 a day with Pinterest and ClickBank. This isn't my first time using ClickBank though I've been with them since 2007 so I trust them more than any other affiliate program. Don't ask me what products I promote because I won't tell you but I promote anything that has enough gravity to convert.

You're failing because you aren't doing enough research. You could spend hundreds of dollars on dropshipping and not make a penny because you have a bad product. Instead, do more research on your product and focus on one thing at a time instead of doing multiple things like dropshipping, affiliate marketing, fba, etc. I suggest you start with affiliates because it's the easiest way to make money.

Well I didn't mean that I was doing all of them at once, I tried them all separately for a few months at a time. I tried affiliates by making a website and having articles and posting ads on fb, but I didn't get anywhere with it.

It's amazing to me how many people waste their time with hard methods that require a lot of manual labor and might just crash at any moment.

Just build a website. Invest your time in building a website and then once you have some traffic, monetize with Amazon affiliates.

Super easy.

yeah, you need to work on your skilss you have enough time for that. go after one thing you love to do and make the best out of it

Dude you're still young. What have you got to lose now even if you failed?

Im sure you have learnt a lot from those failures.

The fact that you've tried various ventures at such a young age shows that you're not giving it enough time.

My advice is STICK TO ONE VENTURE that you are very passionate in and give your best shot and keep testing and tweaking until it works.
