Earlier a mod moved a post that I put in the lounge because they assumed I was selling something. They didn't read the post; just saw the title and moved it to "Making Money."

Whatever. Busy guys. I get that.

The same mod told me that instead of sharing a bunch of emails that I should share the technique I used to obtain them from a public database.

Several other people agreed that I should share it.

Instead of adding it on as a comment to the bottom, I made a decision to create a new post with the technique.

Because it included a link and I'm a worthless noob, it went for approval. After hours, I tried again.

Nothing happened. More people asked for the technique.

So I created another post in a way that would allow me to bypass the approval process.

Then, around 2 am, all of the posts were deleted. The reason: "stop making multiple threads about the same topic."

I have an idea... how about you guys create an easy and obvious way to delete a post from the approval queue.

Or at the very least, read the posts before taking actions so you know what you're dealing with. Sometimes people put the body of a post where it belongs and not in the title, making it difficult to get an idea of the whole post by the title alone.

:)

lmao.

Suggestions are more sarcastic attitude.

Literally says "almost anything goes here!"

Because sometimes mods make decisions without reading the post. It's happened to me twice and I just made my first substantial post yesterday.

Also... the lounge is heavily restricted in terms of what is and is not allowed. Just an observation. The tagline "almost anything goes" is grossly misleading.

Cheers.

I meant my suggestions were a bit sarcastic. Not the concept of suggesting things. And tbh, there is heavy restriction concerning what is and is not allowed in the Lounge... so it seems like it's pretty serious here too. lol.

So I created another post in a way that would allow me to bypass the approval process.

Yeah, that was respectful of the staff member that handled the situation.

This was moved to suggestions. But I just made another post in suggestions suggesting essentially the same thing. And since I disrespected staff members, I guess this will all be deleted too. lol :p

I certainly didn't mean it disrespectful. Of course... I learned from the best. (other bhw members).

And seems like you should laugh a bit more. Just saying. It helps.

I was hard headed like you as well. The best thing to do is just accept the fact that BHW has rules for a reason and no one works for you here... Just follow the rules and fix your mistakes and be sure not to make them again.. If not, it never ends well. Trust me, I know :p

If a staff member deems a post or thread to be conflicting with the forum rules or ethos and deletes it, then it stays deleted.

"So I created another post in a way that would allow me to bypass the approval process."

Trust me, this ^ really is not the way to behave.

I've merged your other thread with this one as I think it'll be easier if everything is in one place.

The moderation process is put in place for new members on the forum in an effort to restrict spam.

For future reference, if you have issues with a genuine post getting stuck in moderation, you can send in a support ticket so that a member of staff can look into the matter for you.

As you now have 15 posts, you can also PM moderators on the forum to ask for advice in posting as well.

I hope this helps. If you're still not sure what to do, follow one of the steps I gave above (support ticket or PMing a moderator) for more assistance.
