This is one of my current reads as well. It's really good. Have you done any more research on McNamara? How far are you into the book? Unfortunately, I'm reading the original version, not the "New Confessions."

• Cocky: The Rise and Fall of Curtis Warren.
• Anything on the American Mafia.
• The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer.
• Papillon.

Crime & Punishment definitely gets me feeling very reflective. Dostoevsky has a way of writing that seems modern, yet his writing is 1 century old.

What about McNamara? is he mentioned in the book?

Yeah, he's mostly referenced in terms of the Vietnam War. Since he was the Secretary of Defense. But Perkins also uses him as an example for executives that are shuffled around. Ones who do as their told and carry out their expected duties. Because he was the President of Ford Motor Company, Secretary of Defense, and President of The World Bank.

I like the nickname for Bruno, "The Silver Fox."

Oh Im not a fan, but it's brilliant nontheless. There's a reason every Amazon exec. has to read it.
