VPS vs Shared Hosting - Which Should I Use?

I'd say go with shared as yours is not a heavy resources website with pretty modest traffic. Will save you $$$. Can scale up when you feel you need something more and until then SHARING IS CARING FOR YOUR WALLET ;)

I have 5 wordpress websites that I currently need to move to a new hosting company.

Each site gets approximately 100+ daily visitors.

The sites are very low on resources as they do not have many images or videos.

Should I go with shared or VPS hosting? I am not tech savvy.
It is completely sufficient on shared hosting, and require less maintenance effort. VPS are generally more expensive if you go for managed service, and if unmanaged you will have to configure everything from your ipfilters to the web server directory rules.

if I buy shared hosting meaning how name server will come for 5 domains?
if am creating 5 accounts mean, I have to manage all the domains privately.
shared hosting with multiple addons is not suitable for running sites, that option is only applicable when you are testing things.

lets say if your hosting account has cpu limit 1 core 1gb physical memory when you host multiple domains on same accounts it will cause your websites to run slow as most of the companies are now a days using cagefs.
but if you have separate accounts for each of your domains you will get 1 core 1 gb ram for each of your website.
as i am hosting provider too so i know people miscalculate this

No you dont have to manage all domains privately. nameservers for all the domains will remain the same if you buy all the accounts from same provider.

if i want unique name server what should i do ?

The price difference is minimal. If you can manage VPS and have a site that has potential, then go for it. If you only have churn and burn sites, or just starting, or not prefer to maintain VPS, then go for shared hosting.

if i go for VPS i can get unique name server but am not that much in tech. what should I do?
if i go shared hosting many footprints will get like 10 accounts in one id, name server, soa records, same address like that.
How to avoid all those things?

Cloudways offers managed VPS starting from $10/m. I haven't tried it but found them while looking for managed VPS. You can get $50 credit by using promo code WPMUDEV. You can find other managed VPS options if you're interested.

Shared hosting all the way. Share hosting is always hosted on some top notch Dedicated server. This shouldn't be a problem. If you get more visitors, switch to Dedicated server, dont bother with VPS's :)

Try linode, you get your own cloud server for as low as $5, decent hosting

I would stick with shared hosting if it was me based on what you said.

:D a vps costs around 5$ and shared-hosting costs around 3$. The gap between prices and speed you got from both is worth to switch to vps:rolleyes:. Just saying

You gotta be kidding right? Thats totally wrong
