Netlfix Addiction : Too much time waste

I REALLY WISH I was addicted to Neflix cause all their shows are TOTAL SHIT!
I mean "The Office" is a good show. But that may be the only good show they have because "The Sopranos" is on Amazon. No wait they also have "Breaking Bad" which my name was partially inspired by. Also a great show! Other than that I wish I had a Netflix addiction because most their shows are in fact garbage. Oh wait "The FIX" with Jimmy Carr is my last show I like that show too.

What if that "one idea" was to watch Netflix all day? OP dreams of this idea, lives that idea... procreates to that idea.

OP if you want success you must focus on this idea of watching Netflix, just focus on nothing but watching more Netflix, and the problem will go away but ONLY when you make a real attempt to see it. So you must keep watching Netflix to see it.

Youtube has great video you can watch

Get out of the house. Work from a coffee shop, library, office, anywhere, and you'll see your productivity increase.

For temporary solution, there are many tips.

But for real permanent solution. "CHANGE YOUR HABIT"

When trigger occurs, go for a walk or go hangout and make sure, to give yourself a reward each time. To make the habit enjoyable and stick.

Do for a month and see the magic.

Get disciplined. Cancel your "Net-L-Fix" subscription and get to work. Anime is a cringey medium meant for children and adults who have failed to grow up. It provides zero substance to the real world. Man the fuck up and stop looking to an Internet forum for solutions when all you need to do is get your lazy ass up, take a walk, clear your head, sit down and get to work.

Excuse me, is this Gordon Ramsay's IM counterpart?

Naruto's awesome. But do it at the end of the day. I am reading Naruto too, but I can only do it early morning or evening after everything is done and its time to relax. During the day- my mind is switched to work mode.

Just continue watching anime.
You never know when the time comes that you're going to get summoned into another world. At the very least your going to be ready for what fuck up shit comes.

Move to Europe.. We have really shitty content compared to USA so after 1month you wont have anything to see lol

Holy shiet!:D That's blunt but it's the truth. When you grow up, Anime will just be another good childhood memory.

Have you ever watched Rocky 4? He goes away to a frozen wasteland in Russia to work on his goal(s). You should do the same thing.

(Basically, challenge yourself to not watch any Netflix for just 3 weeks and see how much further ahead you'll be).

I don't need rewards to propel myself forward. The simple act of checking something off my to-do list is enough for me to press on. Positive reinforcement and reward-based pats on the back I save for my dogs. They actually learn from it. For people, it's just a crutch.

I'm glad to hear you don't need anything external things to move forward. But, unfortunately, this is not 99% of people. People are not robots, and vast majority will need reward systems in place. Sure, you can do sheer grinding for some time, but it is not sustainable long-term for most of us mortals.

Surely, I'm not here to discourage anyone to "just do things", but most of you won't be the next David Goggins or Jocko Willink, like most of them motivational videos are trying to say.

Yes, you need to build discipline to achieve things and to follow through, but there's absolutely no need to torture yourself or give up entirely something you like, be it anime, be it something else. Instead, place some kind of reward system that works for you, to get you motivated to do the work you have to do. The sooner you realize this, the better off you'll be. Do it one day at a time, until it becomes natural.

There's tons of research done on this topic and books written. The idea here is to learn to negotiate with yourself, instead of being a tyrant to yourself. That is why a lot of people procrastinate on doing what matters the most, even in situations when your life is on the line.

I'm talking this from my own experience as well.

Hope that helps @Trickypedia

It happens to most of us pal especially if the series is quite interesting. Just keep a target n time slot for ur work and catch up on a couple of episodes in a day. Try to avoid binge watching dats d key to control!!

OP hahaha .... you watch with normal speed right ?????

Any Addiction is a psychological and first you have to ready for psychological and than you can left it. you can live without netlfix.

Hello

Get educated. Cancel your"Net-L-Fix" subscription and then arrive at work. Anime is just really actually a medium intended for adults and kids . It offers the life with zero chemical. Person the fuckup when everything you want to do will take a seat, have a stroll, clean your mind, get your bum up and get into work and quit trying into a online forum for solutions out.

I don't have that issue with Netflix, but I definitely have it with video games
