why not just host them on any shared hosting site and get emails from cpanel setup with addon domains.

Yup you can. You can get 25 * 11 accounts. Sign up for zoho mails. They used to provide 25 accounts for free. Not sure about how many they provide now, but you can still get more than 11 for sure. Btw, you will have to set everything up by yourself (like spf, dkim etc).

yes, every domain comes with free 1GB space email account but think twice if you use it, your free email account and data will all be deleted if you transfer out your domain.
