Thanks - do you mind providing some more info here? I looked at PBNGeek and his PBNs are something like $15-20 per link (not including the other diversity stuff)? Seems really high if I'm looking at the right thing.

Can you explain more about what you build to each guest post? How much do you spend for links to each guest post? Do you pay more to build links to a DA40 guest post than a DA20 guest post?

You have to ask for PBNs only.

I spend around $10-20 per guest post. (Using 2-3 PBN links + 2-3 web2.0s (Spun will do, Should index and stay) + Get Niche related Forum & Blog comments + $1 social signals)
This can cost $10-20.

I have seen awesome movements with this type of tiered link building. For a long term Website, I won't recommend using PublicBN links for tier 1, As they die very soon and you get the ranking drop.

Also, i build 5-6 guest posts per month + Links to those guest posts. Really difficult to keep the velocity if you get 100s of links per month (Don't count Press release).

Following this journey. How much do you pay your writers for 1000 words?

Info articles at $15 per 1000
Best of at $20-30 per 1000
Research articles at $60-70
VA $5 per hour
Graphics: $10-30 per graphics/chart

Update:

Updating after a long gap. Was busy finding writers, doing tax stuff.

I found a few writers for the other sites that i have bought in the last 3 months. I have 1 google news sitting doing nothing, have to build them up.

Added 4 new articles and a tool for the readers to use.

Also, my VA is outreaching other sites to show them the tool and maybe win some embeds. I am getting a quiz made on the site which helps people to choose the best possible match for them.

Maybe this will increase the conversion once i am ranked. Let's see and hope.

Built around 12 links in last 15 days and preparing a few new youtube videos which will be uploaded on the youtube channel with the link to my site.

I will update the other youtube journey soon once i start uploading again.

Yup, If the site is small and they take care of every link that comes to their site. I usually get @Jay Yadav 's packages to the guest posts. Only a few very removed last year. Well, i pointed too many links to their post. Most people really don't like that.

I like getting social signals once in a while. There are a few people on BHW that can provide good social signals. I am getting a lot of shares on reddit that is indeed helping my traffic

Happens but most don't really realize that.
Not the big guest posts (Like bustle)

I have created few category pages which my posts are under
like 3
but the category does not show in my url
the category I created is just it seems like it wants me to add description and all this stuff
and do the whole Title tag to it
but I am not really ranking that category ( not sure if its a post it self)
should I just delete the category since I dont even see it in my url
so that means my posts are directly connected to my site and not through these categories.
Also, If i am not going to rank these categories (not sure if its a page or post itself) should I just delete it ?
or should I keep it to categorize the 2 to 3 different sections of things that are on my site.
I saw Neil Patel's he was saying to rank the category page which I cant really do
because I need to rank straight my keyword
I feel like it might be acting as a unecessary buffer blocking my seo juice

Another question I had should I link from my homepage to my Post or Inner page
And then back from my Inner page or post to homepage
so like back and forth
Or only one way
both have benefits , which one do you prefer
