Donation Button for BHW 2.0

Maybe consider donation button for BHW?
In profile we can add link to PayPal or BTC adress, this will display small donation buttons below our avatars.

Of course, asking for "donation" in post would be not allowed but many people would earn some nice beer for supporting the community.

Jr.exec would gather nice cash and many people who shared valuable knowledge for free.

I think any Jr.VIP member level should have it.
This would also help many guys to keep Jr.VIP just by contribution

My idea is not about reputation system but overall, activate button for every Jr.VIP and higher.

Idea is simple, user likes your posts and thread, can donate.

People would just make countless of useless threads.

Jr.VIPs would not do that, this is the same story I hear when donation idea comes. Anyone tested it? Nope...

Interesting idea actually. I don't oppose it but it will be weird for sure lol. Flattr could be an option for example. Must only be enabled for paid members ofcourse. This should encourage many users to share good stuffs for sure

This would allow people to earn for next Jr.VIP period, not all vips are selling stuff.
Win - win - users benefits and forum pocket benefits

Donation sound like a good idea. I like it. However when doing it with real $ it can attract many spammers that will use spun content to game the system = more work for mods (My own theory, not a fact) however, creating a reward points system can help us build a better community and save lot of paper work wgen doing it with real currency

Now lets assume BHW create his own coin, and when someone want to donate he simply reward the thread writer with BHW coin.

Now lets assume that this coin can be used for:
Buying signature space
Renew marketplace thread
Etc

Coins are bad idea, I see it when selling on BHW using only coins. Most of users begging for PayPal

People shouldn't contribute to BHW because they think they have something monetary to gain from doing so. That destroys the reason this forum exists in the first place.

Went through that thread and yepp, these are pretty valid reasons for not enabling the donation.

I think there should be a donate button on each Shit List thread. When people lose money on those threads, I always want to send them something to make up for their losses. You don't have to donate, but it may help recover some losses.

I don't think a donate button should be in the main forum though. This is a money making site. The purpose is to earn money from methods, not from donations.

It's your opinion, you have right to have own. The final decision is made always by owner.
