I want to migrate from one hosting to another but I don't know why I cannot import mysql database from cpanel thus I thought of importing data from all in one migrator plugin but this can make my site down for some hours maybe 1-2? so does it gonna effect my seo?

Make sure, the hosting transfer has been done properly. Downtime should be minimum during transfer. It doesn't makes a major change to your SEO but one must do it correctly.

it wont affect your seo at all, just make sure to finish the entire transfer and get back on track with your SEO

A couple of hours down in the middle of the night isn't going to do any harm. Most sites end up down for a few hours every year due to some technical hiccup.

You need to do the whole transfer with the original site still up.

Only after everything's moved over, you switch the DNS data and just let it smoothly switch over 24 to 72 hours. Don't be cheap and remove the old site before 72 hours.

Yes, downtime hurts a LOT.

Yes, if the downtime is long it will affect adversely.

Why do you need so much downtime? First make your site fully functional on another server and just then chage name servers. In the USA it will be updated in 10 minutes. Mostly no downtime at all. To connect to your site's new destination without changing name servers use file "hosts" in Windows. And don't use cPanel for importing/exporting databases, use phpmyadmin, you will gain more control over it.

If it is a Wordpress site use a plugin like Duplicator. Make a backup and install this one on your new host. After configuring the setup and database you can change the DNS and you're website will running on the new hosting exactly how it was on your previous one.

Delete your old version after a week or something, not much earlier.

i suggest you to contact your hosting company and ask them to migrate the site from old host if its cPanel to cPanel it will be easy for them and you will not get any downtime in this process if properly executed.

Perfect answer.

I don't think people are even reading the OP fully...

Having your site down for 1-2 hours ONCE while migrating won't do your SEO any harm.

Having your site down for 1-2 hours REGULARLY (daily, weekly etc.) will.

Do your migration, don't worry about it.
