Ask me anything about Facebook Ads 2019

Anything for better communication.

I am accessing a friend's FB who lives in USA in another state. It is aged account never used FB ads before me. The business manager has had issues every single step of creating new ad, always for "unusual account activity." (UAA) So, I will create a $5 ad, as always, 100% complaint, etc., select the credit card attached to business manager, and moments later I get this "UAA" error. So, I fill out the form, the case gets reviewed (in support inbox on personal fb), and approved. Then I ask for the ad to be reviewed (another case), it gets reviewed, and approved. Then I duplicate the $5 ad, select another audience, and launch it. Same thing.. . "UAA." I fill out the form, reviewed, approved, then have to ask for my ads to be reviewed and approved. It is an endless cycle.

I have chatted support but we know how useless they are.

I think they recognize my IP logging into this super aged account with history and it is conflicting. I think I need to try a DNS with MultiLogin?

Worth a try, but usually they don't tag IPs, it's usually the ad account or business manager

Hi
Have you had problems with the cost of lead for the last few weeks?

I started working with FB in December last year. I work in two directions. These are white and black methods)
Mostly I work with offers (weight loss and male enhancement offers) that are not prohibited in the FB

So, two months ago, I was campaigning for a conversion and had a very low price for the lead. About $ 1
All creatives I do myself! 99% of my ads videos of weight loss vertical are approved!
But over the past two weeks, the conversion cost for lead has increased several times.
Now about 5-6$
ANd this is not profitable for me now ((((
I have about 40 F accounts/ I have a lot of FB traffic
But
But if earlier I started 5 accounts, then 2-3 accounts in the beginning got a cost per conversion of $ 1.
For the other two accounts, the cost was high or тщ conversions at all!
That's why I made duplicates and started running campaigns in these accounts again while getting a low price per conversion.

Now
if I take 20 new accounts, then only 1-2 accounts at the first launch of the campaign will receive a cheap cost of the leads! All other accounts will receive a cost per conversion of $ 5-10. Or I will not get one conversion.
Moreover, even if you do ten times a copy of the ad set, it will not make any sense!

Can you help me?

2 months ago is a long time, it's more than likely audience fatigue. Try switching up your copy/creative. If you're using a lookalike expand your percentage as well (ie. try a 3% if you're using a 1%).

It's also possible that people are reporting your ad which is causing your decline in performance.

I am getting low CPC and 7% CTR on my ad, I know the target audience is right. I am sending them to a lead capture page but no one is opting in. I've tried different variations and different audiences to make sure but can't find any that enter their email address. It is the learn how to make money online niche. I sent a message to your FB Page if you can help? Thanks!

No, this is a 15+ year account. My guess if I appeared in SF they would think it is all legit.

Currently I have like $50 in ads a day going. If I have one I want to duplicate, I can do that, and the account will get disabled and I have to go through this entire process. It just isn't feasible.

Any tips for selling a product to DJs? I think I have an idea of the audiences I want to target however I'm lost on setting up the video ads. Whether I should do do desktop newsfeed placements, mobile placements, etc. Or should I create posts and boost posts? I can message you for more information

I replied to your FB message but for other people make sure you run a Conversion campaign not a Traffic campaign. This will tell Facebook to find people most likely to opt in to your email list, rather than just people who are click-happy on Facebook or Instagram. And, of course, you should have a clear, well-optimized landing page.

I always leave placements on automatic (all placements) when starting new campaigns. It's wrong to assume which you 'think' will do well right out of the gate. Let it run on it's own for a few days then use the 'View Charts' function to narrow in on your best performers. And no, don't boost posts, go through the Ads Manager. Feel free to PM.

I don't see an automatic placements option. I'm doing a video ad. It's saying Mobile Newsfeed, Desktop Newsfeed, Instant Articles, etc. Edit nvm I was looking at the ad preview. I have it setup for automatic placements.

What could you advise me for promoting hand knitten hats and accessories?

Target older women with slideshow videos/carousels. Make the websites/landing pages stupid-simple to buy

Happy to answer any questions related to Facebook Ads :)

You are a great person, very few people take their time to share those secrets, I have some questions I want to ask, I am new to e-commerce:
1. What is the most effective Facebook advertising strategy for dropshiping products? Some guru has said that I should set up a general store then advertise on FB each product to find the winner?
2. Should I start with PPE ads / conversions / traffic .... etc?

Could you give me a suggestion what is the best way to promote high-end luxury furniture?

Generalized stores are a dead thing in my opinion... I don't know anyone that's bought something from one. Do you? Niche stores focused on serving a specific target market are much better. Start with a broad niche (ie. fashion, beauty, etc.) and focus in on a specific demographic (eg. Asian women 20-35).

When starting a new store start with Conversion Ads on View Content, then transition to Add-to-Cart as you get enough data, then Purchase.

Engagement Ads targeting high-income zip codes to try and start a viral campaign. You won't be able to properly run Conversion campaigns if they are super-high end (ie. $1k-2k+) so you're best off trying to reach as many people as possible and use good branding to keep them engaged.

Thank you.
What do you think is the best content for this type of product?
I mean for the ads it's better with video or just the image? If video, what kind of video should I make?

Videos or single images would probably work best, as either can showcase the luxury environment the furniture would go in (like a super nice living room). Carousel probably wouldn't be great since you couldn't show off the luxury element. See this video for the vibe I'm imagining:

Hi OP,

Suggested audience for multi-brand fashion watch niche(e-commerce store)?
Using carousel ads extremely high CPC :(

Use the Audience Insights Tool to find high-affinity Interests
Test 5-10 (each in their own individual ad set). Test single image, slideshow video, and carousel ads within each ad set

Thanks for the suggestion, I get very low relevant score if i were to use the affinity interest in audience insights
