Would you rather have a CPA course in Video format or as an Ebook?

Thanks man, I really appreciate your words. I never think that many people follow me, or read my stuff or looking forwards to things of mine. I mean sure, couple of my threads have a lot of views and likes but usually only a fraction of them reply and I'm often not that focused on views because I'm always busy busy so to read some compliments every now and then is nice to hear.

No pre-order for now, I'm incredibly busy and everything (website, writing the book, setting up payments, member area etc etc) isn't setup 123. I was first interested in the feedback here which have so far been really good but I might setup something like an email list to keep people up to date although I'm not sure what the rules are on that. @BassTrackerBoats Maybe I can setup an email list before the BST and can only set the website live after opening a BST?

I would say the course in an ebook format would be better.

Sometimes videos can be too slow or fast, and I would rather just read in my own pace with an ebook.

I've found that too many video course makers will become overly reliant on the on-screen actions, and give no explanation whatsoever. (No, "click here then click here" is not an explanation, especially when the handheld camera is pointing at the presenter's face instead of the monitor.)

I voted for ebook personally, but I wouldn't be opposed to a well-explained video, something that could be converted to a text transcript or audio-only without much loss of information.

Collecting emails via a thread is a no-no but there are ways around that which are allowed.

Open a BST to collect emails for an upcoming BST - I am pretty sure we would allow that.

Have a link in your signature to collect emails - I don't see that as a ToS violation.

Linking to a Skype, Telegram, Discord, etc group in any of those situations would not be allowed to build a list but to get the emails I don't see an issue.

What new info will be in this course compared to other courses? If its full of stuff i can easily find from a free video on Youtube then its not for me...
Recently did a course by a "Super Affiliate" who regularly posts on this forum so i will not name the person or course. This course was priced heavily and the winning formula that we were all waiting for in the course was, wait for it................................................................................................... doing CPA with an email list.

All i thought after that was, THIS SHIT IS ALREADY OUT THERE!!!

That's a valid point however I don't think that there will be a whole lof of people that will be working like that, it would take forever.



Hmm maybe but it would also require a totally different structure. I would have to set up subscriptions and multiple sessions because I wouldn't be able to upload it all at once because it's going to be ripped sooner or later.

Creating a course in a video format will take a lot more work but you will be able to sell at a much higher price point but if you do an e-book version you can always do more insight on specific topics and do a multiple upsells and downsells. Your call though.

I totally get you, IMO it's also easier to take with you on the go but I might have to create both.

Understandable question, what new method did any creator of best selling courses bring to the table? Pretty much nothing. It's pretty much about how you explain things and sharing knowledge. The advantage of that is you don't have to read tons of articles, search the internet, bookmark everything or make lists as it's all in one place plus as it's for beginners and intermediates people will always pick up stuff, learn new things.

Sure I can also take the Tai Lopez route (among many other big SM marketers) which probably would make me a hell of a lot more money but I have never been one to fake shit with my past, which is also an aspect many people like of me.

It's like, learning for your drivers license, Studying how to be a stock or real estate broker is that new? No but someone had to teach you that and some people are better in teaching than others
