I'm planing to add group boards but it's tricky, i lost a lot of big accounts when i tried to accept board invites. You need to warm up de account before joining group boards.

Here are some automation settings, even if i have my custom made bot.
- When i start to pin with a new account, I pin between 0-1 pin/day in new added boards and increase the numbers to 0-3 pins/day when i add other boards. Never add 30 boards and start pining from the first day in all of them and a large number of images.
- I have a time frame, i pin only 13 hours/day.
- I pin randomly (random account and random board). Even if it's possible to pin twice in a row in the same board.
- The time between pins is calculated automatically after the bot decide how many pins will be pinned across all the accounts in a day.
- When i pin from my website i pin between 0-1 pin/day/board. Because i decided to make niche board i ended up with a lot of categories(let's say 10) and i don't think it's ok to pin 10 pins/day every day from my website.
- I pin multiple time the same article if fits in 2-3 boards, but i add the articles manually to the pining list so it won't be pinned in the same day on 2 boards.

- Adding a domain filter to the bot, to skip flagged/spam pins
- Create accounts and extract boards/pins for : home and design, cleaning and fashion accounts
- Mix the boards so it can fit to any future accounts

Yes, for the gardening account, I had some spikes on traffic if that you want to know.
For the other niches i have websites but i didn't pinned till now, i'm waiting my views to grow first

I don't understand, the link is sending traffic to the article on another site. How does this help you drive traffic to your site?

It healps me to grow my accounts and not be a spammer wo pin sonly his website.
Not really, it's more an automation + bot

Here are some updates.
I seen an increse of traffic on my gardening and beauty/health website although i pinned only from my gardening website.
It's possible that the traffic increase on my beauty/health website just because the assigned pinterest account to the website starts to get reach. However i'm adding new boards every day on this account.

Agree with some of the other comments about the purpose can you clarify? I don't thinking pinning your own stuff is spam or treated as such our business board does 30k unique views and it's all our own products/blog posts?
That said, your gardening board if you plan to try and make money from that board in the the future I might be interested in getting a few things pinned

Thing is I don't want to water down the brand board with other crap. We post our own content and for what it is, very targetted and focused I think it does well with only 224 pins we get 30,800 unique views, 1200 or so people engaged and about 214 clicks from UK users (more from the US but thats of little use to us) our account sat with nothing on it and then we paid a VA to pin for us and we saw improvement, my point is and not to high jack this thread that if your a business posting your own content I don't think is spam as that's the purpose of it.
