Is Tor Browser safe for anonymity?

vpn + tor = yes , but please check atleast some documentation on networking and how tcp/osi works basic concepts and concepts of tor should be a good go

If you use TOR together with a VPN you should be reasonably safe. I actually started using BRAVE browser. It's a Chrome based browser with all the Google crap ripped out, and on top of incognito mode, it also has Private Browsing With Tor so you can use it for some decent anonymous browsing.

Is Tor Browser safe for anonymity?

don't use only Tor if you want to be anonymous. u have to use socks, vpn. only tor without vpn is not anonymous. there are many ebooks about all this things you can find them.

It depends on what you’re trying to access and who you are trying to remain anonymous from.

As all others said you should connect VPN first. This helps because it sends the tor traffic to a different exit node, far from your geographical location.

Exactly. You could be vulnerable to time correlation attacks. There was a student at an ivy league university who didn't feel like having classes that day so he wanted to prank for a bomb in the building. Logs into Tor from the library, leaves his message and then gets caught because the node he connected to belonged to the university's network. Although the admins couldn't see Tor's traffic, they could see that a specific computer from the library was connected at that time to the node and they could see that the prank message came via Tor. Putting 1 and 1 together, the guy was caught.

1: Download TOR
2: Browse from Tor to VPN ( ex: NordVPN) and pay with Bitcoin
3: install virtual Windows + Install Tor in VW

with just this you can´t be PERFECT anonymous if you try it for Deepweb or DarkWeb

I second this approach. This definitely one of the safest [not very complicated] ways to connect to the DN anonymously. Be careful on what you click on. Load of phishing links.

That is why I don't trust Ivy League Universities.

Lots of scammers there.

none of you understand that you should be using tor bridges not nodes

It depends what u wanna do, if u wanna do shady, with these questions, better if u do nothing. If u wanna just see, a Vpn + Tor it's enough. Though it's full of people who do thousands things/tricks, thinking they're invisible-master anonymous and then leave exif data in the pictures hahaha.

However, be good, u make more money being an entrpreneur/marketer than a criminal, in the long run. Belive me.

Lot of bullshit here.

Adding a VPN add another layer and also makes another possible vulnerablity.

And I WOULDN'T reccomend using Windows for TOR, just use Tails it's free and great

someone hotspot, VPS offsure, then a VPN installed then tor browser used.

all paid via online coin

paranoid setup

only watch cartoons, in a caravan in alanta in the forest .

jk , doors still knocked in.

Rule one:you are never anonymous enough for a good hacker.
Rule 2:use tor onlybwith vpn
Rule:3 in the normal web you are not safer either ️️️

Make sure you use a router VPN as well and you’ll be fine. That should protect the other devices you have on the network too. And aside from Tor, the DuckDuckGo browser and search engine also seem credible.
