Mining without a farm

I mined scrypt coins a few years ago, I was too worried that the hardware would burn my house down and electricity was too expensive so sold all my equipment at a good time where I got more than my investment back. Solo mining was not for me.

Pool mining barely broke even. If you get free electricity, or get lucky mining a noname coin that shoots up in value, maybe it's worth it, but ultimately a gamble. Too much of a headache for me and there's easier ways to make money out there.

damn, u need to care about fire safety and about cooling system of the farm. I've heard about large electricity bills, but never heard about "fire hardware"

Well, you have had very good experience o understand that mining can be unprofitable.

I really wonder if it possible to mine without a farm?
There are all sorts of mobile applications that supposedly allow you to manage the resource of a smartphone. Is it true or fake?
Is there any kind of software that allows you to mine crypto without loading the computer up to freezes and sucking out all the electricity in the city?
Any opinion is appreciated.

It's just not a way to make any profit. Not sure why people want to try mining right now. Take all the money and time you spend on getting a mining setup going, and learn trading or better yet, start your own cryptocurrency. Write a biz plan, submit it to the biggest venture cap firms you can find, and don't stop pitching until someone says yes.
