UK Business Registration HELP!

I don't get what you issue is

The real issue is, Paypal do not want to deal with SMM business anymore. They permanently limited our account.

Now, we have to find an alternative payment option and that would be card payments. Most card processors require business registration and addresses. But we don't have one. We saw some websites using 1 payment processor and I am in contact with them. I EMPHASIZED that we are only SOLE TRADERS as we dont have business registrations nor addresses.

Approval is 1-2 days. I hope they will grant us.

If anyone of you guys can suggest another card payment option that can handle sole traders like us, please I am so happy to have a word from you. We have been stuck for almost 5 days and I really need to resume.

By the way, I am not the owner of the websites. I am just the one who manages everything on it.

Note that you technically do still need to register with HMRC that you are self employed if going the sole trader route.

is it necessary? Is it easy to do for the website even though Im from Philippines and the website is .co.uk?

Please help. The card processor is asking me for any proof of entity. Any easy way I can provide it?

If you're trying to do things properly and legally then yes, it is necessary. If operating as a sole trader then you will need to complete tax self assessment. This will need to be in the name of your boss. I'm confused as to why you are doing this for him.

I think he wants to be stealth. I think he is a bit hesitant because of how danger can cause on this business. Will it take up to legal matters if he will provide it? Another card processing company ask me about proof of entity and it requires the one from UK. I cant even do it because im from Philippines. :( I feel very sad. I cant do anything.

Please help

I don't think anyone here is going to be able to help a great deal.

If there is a worry about the legalities of this type of business then don't run it. Otherwise your boss will need to either register as self employed or setup a limited company as suggested.

I suggest your boss take advice from a solicitor and possibly an accountant.

company is not registered sir. its just we have website that handles UK customers. Without proof of entity of being a sole trader, or if he will not register a business, i dont think this business is over. its tough. this is the only job i know of right now.

I don't get what you issue is. You just simply register a business with the companies house. Other than that there are plenty of cheap services you can use to register a business. Not that there is any need.

However what you may find is that when you register a business and use the business. Companies like PayPal and shit might want you VAT code.

Any recommendation on nominee director/nominee shareholder/nominee shareholder companies ?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. If you mean what you enter on the form, then it is your name as director, your name as secretary and your name as the share holder (that is if you are owning 100% of the company.) You can quite easily change any of this when the company is set up.

I meant having other people as nominees to protect the identity of the director and shareholder

No. You would have to fill it in with genuine information. You could have a director and you could have a secretary. However you would still have to be the shareholder. But you couldn't just have a made up director and a made up secretary.

Not made up ... they'll be real people. I've seen a few companies that could do this
but they want £1000 for it
