Ask me anything about Facebook Ads 2019

Hi Drought,

Thanks for your efforts to help us out in this thread.

I've had some success with SEO in the "Male Enhancementenrt Supplements" niche and I want to diversify my traffic sources so I don't depend 100% on Google.

HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS:

Can I promote Male Enhancements Supplements with FB Ads?

If yes, would this work? Ad ---> LP ---> Product Site or/and Ad ---> Quiz ---> LP ---> Product Site

I've built a list of 10,000+ email subscribers in this niche. Can I retarget them with Facebook ads? Can I use this list for a Lookalike audience campaign?

Thanks in advance for your help

do you have any sites I can see and get a good idea on how to be more creatives on my post?

Go to competitor's pages in your niche and click 'Info and Ads' to see all the ads they run.

You will have trouble running this sort of product with Facebook Ads UNLESS you market it purely based on biological benefits and make zero mention of it's ability to cure impotence. I would say retargeting would be a good place to start to see if you can get your ads approved, and will be much easier ROI.

Hello sir, I'm really new to this so before I start I would want to take this opportunity to ask questions.

I'm planning to do blackhat videos using game hack niches (I can make high quality videos).
What would be your best advice that you can give me to avoid wasting of money and somethings to remember.

Also you mention about your clients, can I be your client for a meantime and I'm willing to pay you according to my budget. thank you!

Game hack videos might be difficult to run, though I've never tried. Don't use the work 'hack' or 'cheat' in the ad copy, just make it something like 'Amazing gameplay!' and have the video explain it. Hopefully that will be approved.

Personal finance is a good niche. One way I could think of to differentiate company size is based on the software they use, ie. smaller businesses use HubSpot but larger businesses use SalesForce/Marketo. Something along those lines.
That's great suggestion, thank you.

another question, is buying strong fb ads account necessary for this kind of method that I will do?

Awesome thread. I don't want to pick your brain too much, but perhaps I could get your expert opinion on one thing?

If I was running Facebook lead generation forms at about $20 a day, it wouldn't be unrealistic to get 50 leads a month would it? I mean assuming the copy was good and I was targeting the right demographic.

I only ask because I'm new to generating leads and I want to be able to get the results I promise.

Thanks :)

While it's true that less 'verified' accounts get banned more easily, if you take the proper precautions as I mentioned you should be fine regardless.

Your cost-per-lead (CPL) will depend on your niche, but $20 a day * 30 = $600/month in budget, 50 leads a month would come out to a CPL of $12 each which is definitely reasonable with a small amount of testing.

It would probably be safest to use it with a US VCC and IP.

You can just install each code one after the other. Though it's pretty pointless and even detrimental to use multiple on the same site

Are you able to choose an existing post from an instagram business page and use it as an ad for conversions THROUGH FB ADS MANAGER?

You should be able to if you link the Instagram account to your Business Manager.

hi Drought,

how do I get ton of comments on my ads? I tried to create an ppe campaign worldwide but I mostly get likes, not much comments.

A bit of a broad question, but as I read in your entry post you run ecommerce ads.

I've got a local ecommerce shop. Already tried Fb Ads but no success. Traffic is low and for my low budget I'm thinking a remarketing campaign might be my best bet?

It's tough to manufacture engagement. Post content that encourages people to tag their friends is the best advice I can give. Though I would also ask why you 'need' comments on your ads

Yes. I actually just wrote a blog post on why every business should start with a retargeting campaign. eCommerce especially.

Ok let’s just say I have a instagram business page with over 300k (niche account) what would you recommend starting e-commerce/dropshipping? Create LLA based on video engagement, profile visitors ? Retargeting video viewers or profile visitors with product offer ? Go straight into narrowed(location/demographics) cold audience with existing instagram post? What would you do ?

Start by posting links to your product/store on your page organically. Set up a retargeting campaign to target people that abandon their cart or view a product page but don't purchase. Once you have that down you can start creating LALs based off of customers and website data.
