But one very Important and interesting question, can you even send a dmca to someone when you don't have your site/ online business registered and have a LLC?
I don't think so your site is copyrighted if you don't have your business registered in court so how one can even send a DMCA without having the business registered??? The website isn't even registered by law .. it will actually affect you if you Send dmca to someone just because they copied your site and you don't even have your work copyrighted, this websites like DMCA dot come are not the court legislature or government right?

I asked DMCA, they said they will take care of everything so I am letting them handle it. I also have an LLC registered...

Since I am 100% certain that you do not own the open-source scripts or the design, I am asking for the specific list of copyrighted materials, which was wrongly omitted from the DMCA itself.

If he actually did send a DMCA to your mom's site, just file a counter-notice. Most DMCA services just carpet bomb notifications regardless of false-positives. File a counter-claim and it will most likely end there. Most of this stuff is usually a big bluff and the entities don't have the financial resources to bring you to court.

If he does actually proceed, then feel free to defend yourself and you get to claim all of the legal expenses if you win.

He is lying. So far, I have only sent 2 DMCA letters. 2 out of 19. I also did it the DIY method to see how effective it is prior to me paying thousands of dollars to get the others to be removed. He did not get a letter, he is trolling and now looks dumb. If he got a letter, then he was 1 of the 2 who copied my exact same design, text, images, layout, etc.

I get lots of DMCAs on my sites from DMCA companies carpet bombing and my licensed content gets take down attempts all the time. I just file counter-notices and that's it. It always ends there.

It's not a threat. It's a fact. If you are copying our work and using it without permission, we will enforce actions into place that involve contacting your hosting provider and they will instruct you to change it or they will shut your site down.

You're just leading the way." Which was suggesting that you are so good that people are resorting to copying your website.

It's basic Copyright laws dude. I am sending letters to people who copy our code, our design, our text, our images, our layout, etc. and they are running ads on BHW claiming my work to be theirs. This is not acceptable and I earned the right to do this as I was the one who stayed up for hours multiple nights with my designer creating this so I COULD USE IT. Not anyone else. If you feel differently, that's ok, move on.

Report it to the BHW mods then, you don't need to make a thread about all your copyright problems. BHW would be filled up with thousands of threads a week if all the members made threads about peopling copying their website(s).
