How many Tweets per day?

  • Direct Messages (daily): The limit is 1,000 messages sent per day.
  • Tweets: 2,400 per day. The daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals. Retweets are counted as Tweets.
those are max limitations, not actual limitations

I'd say tweet under 100.

But really, its all up to you based on what you want your profile to look like. I suggest tweeting often (25-50, per day) and finding out which ones give the most engagements (likes, retweets). Then, you'll know which tweets work best for your brand, making it easier to post better content for your audience.

Hope this helps! :)

150+ a day is fine. And I find that's the best number to gain the most followers. I've nearly 2 million.

I still don't understand how people can say Twitter and Facebook is dead or dying. Your outlook on the world of SEO and advertising must be 0.

Facebook still has over 2 billion active users. 22% of the entire world is on Facebook. Yes, anyone under 24 doesn't use Facebook as much, but there are different platforms to capture their attention.

Twitter is one of the best platforms to capture people in the height of their emotion. It is an amazing tool for customer service and to capture people in the heat of needing or wanting something.

As for tweets, i used to work for a platform which developed an API integration to find keyword tweets and auto respond. Leave at least a minute between tweets, make it seem natural and you should be fine. I probably wouldn't exceed around 40 a day to start with though.

If you have an approved blue tick account, you can post as much as you want.

New account on Twitter and you only have a few followers I don’t recommend tweeting a lot

There's nothing to suggest a blue verfied tick does anything other than that - display a tick. Again, I've tweeted over 100 tweets a day for what must be since 2012. There's nothing that suggests that's ever been a problem.

I remember reading a study a few years ago which showed the peak performance of a tweet lasts around 10 minutes. That's 144 times a day.

Now, if you don't have many followers, there's not really much point tweeting so often, as a lot of them will be overlooked. But ever since I started using Twitter, I've never seen a problem with regards to how many times a profile tweeted.

So can we please stop guessing and throwing out numbers. And if you don't have many followers - PM me or visit my marketplace thread.

For personal accounts, 6 to 10 tweets with relevant hashtags. For products pages, 30 to 40 tweets per day with relevant hashtags. Else it will look too promotional and not informative.

That's incorrect. And hashtags should only be used if that tag is trending - else, it just looks spammy

My judgement is based off of the tweet accounts we used to manage. Blue tick for us meant we could tweet as much as we liked without an issue, this was from corporate accounts B2C so not quite what you do probably.

Is 5-10 enough for a day ? If the post is so unique and qualityful then 1-2 tweet is enough for a day

To build you as a brand in this platform(Twitter), you should have consistency about what you talk. In that case, using relevant hashtags on your account will help you build you as a brand.
I understand the importance of the trending hashtag. It should be used in the correct place.

Great information, I was just going to ask how many tweets per day is safe for a new account.

Well I've built an account to almost 2 million. And I disagree with you.

I guess people can take the information they see as most reliable. Hashtags will not help you in anyway, unless that tag is trending, or is being searched a lot - in which case, you can often simply include that word in the tweet. Hashtags on Twitter just come across as spammy - unless that tag is trending.

For example, Valentines Day recently passed - that would be fine to add (once), if the tweet was related to love.

Hey guys, I was wondering how do you guys automate your tweets being to make multiple tweets in a day?

Guys, is there a limitation for tweets per a day? how many tweets can you send out safely? like to know your experience about this.

Thanks
The limit is quite High, but why you are looking for quantity rather than quality?

Social media influencer recommends 3-5 tweets that are relevant, useful and engaging. Also, you must look for right time that brings more engagements for you.

Following are the limits on Tweets, DMs, and and Following.

Direct messages (daily): The limit is 1,000 messages sent per day.
Tweets: 2,400 per day. The daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals. Retweets are counted as Tweets.
Changes to account email: Four per hour.
Following (daily): The technical follow limit is 1,000 per day. Please note that this is a technical account limit only, and there are additional rules prohibiting aggressive following behavior.

in the end hashtags are more important than time. I usally like to spread my tweets over the whole day to reach multiple audiences. e.g. night shift workers too.

Yes, the hashtag is an important factor. I refrain from bombing my tweets with hashtags, I stick around 3-5 hashtags per tweet.

2400 per day and 127 per hour as per my tests.
