???Depends where. You have registrars that allow that for free.
Cheapest is Hostgator at the moment with $7.95.
before renew I can trasnfer again,no worryFor transfers, NameCheap, NameSilo, and Porkbun are all within a few pennies of $10.75, and 1&1 is $8.
But their renewal price is $17/yr, and privacy is an additional $15/yr. So in comparison to Porkbun or NameSilo, the domain is about triple in price for the same benefits.
Some of the registrars and resellers have extra fees when transferring away from their service, don't just buy the cheapest transfer thinking you can get the discount and move on.before renew I can trasnfer again,no worry
True dat and some registrars make it hard to transfer the domain, so sparing a few dollars on the renewal fee by transferring (especially to some shadier registrar with bad reviews), often cause headaches later, when you want to transfer the domain again to somewhere else. Porkbun is good and cheap generally. But their renewal price is $17/yr, and privacy is an additional $15/yr. So in comparison to Porkbun or NameSilo, the domain is about triple in price for the same benefits.
same hereNever had an issue with namecheap or google domains. I usually grab domains on sale like $1 domains and transfer them when the prices go back up.
LCN?@Stavro covered some of the best. Dynadot is also a very inexpensive registrar as well.
Their renewal price is $18/yr, and they require at least one renewal before allowing an outgoing transfer.LCN?

To transfer the domain out from a registrar, that's free, but to transfer in to a new registrar, that costs money. You pay to the new registrar only.![]()
