Niche Site 2019 Two Year Journey

Not a problem if you follow the courses let me know how you go.

Sure I will! Once my school vacation kicks in, I will definitely start on making my very own journey. Not as intense as this one but will definitely start.

An Update for today:

Mid work week and its hard juggling three things at once. I work full time, am a professional sports bettor and am creating these niche sites. My sportsbetting requires a bit of work at this time of the month as it requires reviews, adjustments and betting analysis. It takes priority as I am making a lot of money out of that.

Then there is family time and exercise and eventually some sleep.

I am working on another article for my site and when that is completed and is posted I will put up the review of the steps.

A slow down was always expected mid-week but I do like to be going as hard and as fast as possible.

You sure work hard. It's hard to imagine that you still can manage your time with these lot of things that you are doing. I guess the only thing that lacks on your life is break. Well, I guess if you really want to be financially stable, break will go out of your vocabulary lol.

awesome! following this journey of yours
P.S : I lost me eyeball reading the blue thingy

Yeah sorry I agree. I can't go back and change it though. I was just playing around with it at the time.

I don't see it as working hard. I was obsessed with sports betting (horse racing actually) as a mental challenge. I would spend 10+ hours a day on it collecting data and trying out new things. I built up a massive amount of experience learning what worked and what did not work but none of it seemed like hard work because I was so focused on it. Interestingly it didn't start out as my passion but it grew into a passion of mine but I still don't watch many races. I can now almost use the races as an a money tree and pull profits out of almost any race if I sit and analyse it for a few minutes. The problem is I get drained very very quickly with the intense focus after about 4-5 races (15 mins). It is not something I want to do so I automated everything and let it work its magic every month. Automation means less profit per race but overall works better as I can bet on every race rather than just a few before burning out.

With the niche sites its a much slower feedback but its just an easy thing to do. Do Action A, do Action B, do Action C, etc. Just commit to 2 hours per day. Get up at 5am and work till 7am. Don't make an excuse you don't have time. I prefer to use 5am-7am for exercise but its a good time to work on sites and money making ideas. If you did that you could procrastinate, read forums, watch youtube, etc the rest of the day but you will know at the end of the week you did 14 hours of work to your goals. At the end of the month you are 60 hours of action taken and at the end of the year you are up to 720 hours. I can guarantee you if you did that you would be in the top 2% of people on this forum taking action.

Actions lead to success. The more time spent doing rather than reading/researching the more money you will have coming in.

Look at it this way. INCOME SCHOOL has 60 steps. Lets assume each one of those takes 3 hours to do (they don't take that long but lets say worst case its 3 hours). Thats 180 hours to complete 1 site as per the rules. Now at the end they do say to continue with content creation but lets ignore that for now. If we assume you do two hours per day that is 1 site every 3 months and you can knock out 4 sites a year. If your sites make the amount of money as per the guide which is $1000 per month within 2 years you are pulling in at least 4K per month. If you actually reinvest this you are likely to be pulling in around double that at least as you would create another 4 sites yourself next year and use the money to setup at least another 4-8 sites. So now you are running say 16 sites at the end of the third year. Each pulling in approx $1K if their figures hold up. I am not saying they will as some of it is luck hitting the right niche area and some will make money and some will make less than $1K per month. But if it is around $1K then you are on 16K a month profit in 3 years.

Could you dedicate 2 hours per day to be on that money ? If you can't then you will never be successful.

Now if you want to be sure of 16K a month then you use Grants rule of 10X it. That means you need to do 10 X the work at worst to get to that profit. So 10 X 16 sites is 160 sites. If you assume for every 1K per month you can build 2 sites you get the following progression:

For this lets assume the sites only make $100 a month each.

Year 1 : 4 sites
Year 2 : 400/500 = 1 Sites (rounding up here) + 4 Sites you build + 4 existing sites = 9 Sites.
Year 3 : 900/500 = 2 Sites (rounding up here) + 4 Sites you build + 9 existing sites = 15 Sites.
Year 4: 1500/500 = 3 Sites (rounding up here) + 4 Sites you build + 15 existing sites = 22 Sites.
Year 5: 2200/500 = 4 Sites (rounding down here) + 4 Sites you build + 22 existing sites = 30 Sites.
Year 6: 3000/500 = 6 Sites + 4 Sites you build + 30 existing sites = 40 Sites.
Year 7: 4000/500 = 8 Sites + 4 Sites you build + 40 existing sites = 52 Sites.

At year 8 you have $5200 income coming in per month at a minimum. If it gets $1K as per Income school projects you could be bringing in up to 52K per month. That's only 8 years work. Doesn't that sound compelling ? People can't see the long term picture in the small actions that they take.

No matter what you do its all numbers. You want something you can scale (niche sites) so that you can grow your profits over time. Aim to be rich in 3 years and not today but know todays actions are getting you on the right track to success.

Keep in mind this is all speculation and results will vary wildly depending on the effort you actually put in.

(Sorry if the quote didn't shortened, don't know how) I basically read the whole thing. This enlightened me as I am a student rn and if I actually take action now, after a minimum of 5 years(let's just say) then I can earn roughly $5k a month! This will really make me a successful man in no time. I don't have to work in a corporate world anymore, or look at my boss's face(in the future) everyday 5x/week lol!

These are what I love about this post:
Actions lead to success.
todays actions are getting you on the right track to success.

Thank you so much! I was moved by this post and I actually got inspired because of this. Definitely when summer break kicks in, I will start on my journey and will never stop a day! I will dedicate 5 years of my life in to this! Thank you so much!

Why are you waiting for summer break? Do you not have a spare hour a day or even 20 mins a day to do something now?

Don't procrastinate... get moving as soon as possible.

Action steps stage 11 is now completed. Its Saturday so I could knock out the rest of the article I had and I put in a solid hour and a half with Tai's video.

Here were the steps completed:

Hopefully I can get my wife into helping with the content creation. It will just help speed things up and she is already retired (retired at 23 I think) so she has a lot more time then I do. Retirement wouldn't suit me as its not in my personality to sit still and not be active on some crazy scheme.

So what did I learn:

INCOME SCHOOL
This was pure content creation and I knocked out another 2000+ word article. 4 Articles now posted with over 8000 words. No traffic yet as not promoting the site.

GRANT CARDONE
I love the way Grant delivers in this course. His selling knowledge is unbelievable. Main points were continued along the lines of using agreement as a sales tactic and that you are responsible if a sale doesn't go through because you haven't built trust with the customer. Loving this course.

TAI LOPEZ
I am working through the video and put in another 1.5 hours on it. He went through his triangle of wealth and what the course would actually cover. Tai is another master of sales and I see his tricks constantly now. He was using third party data as a confirmation of why he is an expert and why we should listen to him. I've put as much information as I can into my blog post as this was where the bulk of the learning occurred in this action step.

If you want to read the full post which goes into detail on the exact steps and learnings check out the direct post for ACTIONS STEP STAGE 11 here : https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/action-steps-stage-11/

If you have missed any of the information from previous updates just go to the update page at : https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/actionsteps/ which sets out the action step links with a brief description.

The best advice I can give is stop reading my post and get out there and learn and take action today. Right now.

Why are you waiting for summer break? Do you not have a spare hour a day or even 20 mins a day to do something now?

Don't procrastinate... get moving as soon as possible.

That's a great question! I literally asked myself that. Well, I'm tutoring myself or should I say doing some self studying about some programming languages. One of my passion is creating a system and I am a freelancer but not that big. Only if I found jobs that I really liked or that is reasonable for my knowledge to do. The pay is good IF and ONLY IF I finished the project. But on the way of creating the project, I'm broke af.

Well, I think that's just an excuse so yeah you're right. I better start doing something right now and stop being lazy af. Thank you so much bud!

Something a little bit different in this update.

I am always reading and looking for ideas and things to help me achieve in life. Everyone knows about goals and goal setting and I do that but I had not really put them down on paper for this journey. So I sat down and put a high level goal of :

- Earn 200K in income from Automated passive income from the internet

This was broken down into 2 early goals

- Create two websites with 60K of content each.
- Start a business using Tai's course online.
- Increase my sales knowledge

This was broken down further into daily tasks/activites:

- 500 words a day of content to be created.
- 10 Mins of Tais videos
- 10 Mins of Grants Videos

So that is where I am at the moment. Its more about the goal getting than the goal setting.

You can read more on the goals and track how I achieve them at : https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/goals/

Update on my goals.

6th Feb
14 Mins Grant
18 Mins Tai
586 Words written

7th Feb
45 Mins of Grant
46 Mins of Tai
507 Words written

I wasn't near my article that I was typing for most of the day but I had access to both Tai and Grants videos so I just pushed through with those. That got me a good amount in front on where I needed to be with those. I'll do a chart later to track my progress on each of these goals since the beginning of the year as I can easily calculate where I am vs where I would like to be.

An action step will be posted in the next 24 hours.

Another update on my action steps. I am keeping at it and putting in the work in order to progress :

INCOME SCHOOL
Finally hit 10,000 words of content. No traffic yet as promotion has not started. I can see this working though as I think the content I am putting out is valuable and helps the reader immensely.

Next step on this one is again to write more content. In fact it is the next 5 more steps.

GRANT CARDONE
Great course and learning lots about selling. Its eye opening if you have never done a course on selling. I am still failing the agreement challenge. I will keep at it though and I am improving. The main points of the videos this time were:

- People buy from people they trust and in products they trust will solve their problems. The big keyword is TRUST.
- People don't believe what they hear but believe what they see so put everything in writing.

TAI LOPEZ
I finished the introductory video and will get back into the course step next stage. I love watching Tai from his selling perspective. He gave out a lot of motivation and put the hard sell on why people should purchase his course. But nothing too exciting worth mentioning. I wrote a lot of why his selling techniques work in my blog.

The full update status is available at https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/action-steps-stage-12/

As far as metrics:

Lead Metrics
5 Articles
10717 words

Lag Metrics
Traffic : Non-existent but this isn't a problem as it takes time to get organic traffic and I am not promoting anywhere.

Time to get back to todays tasks.

I've tried doing white hat stuff many times but it tests our patience and i lack it.
Though i've gone through complete income school course and both jim and rickey showcases some really logical fundamentals which are sometimes hard to belive.
Anyway good luck with your journey and i'm following it buddy.

Watching... Good Luck on your Journey mate.

Thank you

Good luck for you

Thank you

I fully agree with you on testing my patience. Its slow to start of with and it takes time to produce the content to an adequate standard. I didn't just blindly follow them though and I did do my research. They review a number of sites and actually give the names of those sites and I just went and contacted a whole bunch of them. I asked if they would confirm the earnings and traffic that income school suggested. All of them replied with what they were making per month and the traffic they were obtaining and they all were doing better than the income school projections except for one site which was just on par with the expected results but he admitted he had been slack on following some of the steps.

So testimonials which I sought out (not given freely) are the basis of me following the steps.

After reviewing a few videos from Tai I can see why the way I am doing this is not optimal for success. It will succeed but possibly too slowly. I am interested in getting a JV going with content writers. I could possibly just buy content but that isn't the direction I want to take.

I'll keep this thread updated on the progress.

Another action step done by getting up at 5:30am and pushing the content out.

Here were the steps for this stage :

The steps were :

  • INCOME SCHOOL
    • Yet another article for the site
  • TAI LOPEZ
    • Watch “Leveraging your beliefs to launch your business”
    • Watch “Done is better than Perfect”
  • GRANT CARDONE
    • Watch “Daily Attitude”
    • Watch “A Product of Your Environment”
    • Watch “Tips to have a Great Attitude"

More content knocked out this week. Google impressions are increasing for the niche site but no clicks really so not much to write home about. As long as the impressions are increasing this is a good sign that progress is being made.

Tai's videos were not that interesting this week but were all about starting now. The first video was really high level stuff and not really useful to me at this stage.

Grants Videos focused on attitude. A great attitude helps selling and will just help you in life in general. Great concepts and enjoyed the videos.

If you want the full breakdown just check out this action step here : https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/action-steps-stage-14/

I am also looking for content writers to share in the profits. If you are interested PM me with the title "JV Content Team" and I'll share the details.

I haven't gone away and just been busy working on the niche site.

The full post is available at : https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/action-step-stage-15/

For this action stage I decided to rebase what I was doing and focus on one course only which is the incomeschool course. The problem was I was spreading myself too thin and because of this I was not doing a good job of getting the content out on the niche site.

Here are the impressions (clicks and other stats on my post at https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/action-step-stage-15/)

So there is some progress. A few clicks coming through (8) and I have setup a new plan of attack which follows the incomeschool course but has my own spin on it.

I'll update again in April to show how March went.

Best of Luck...

Following your journey... Keep updating...

Cheers...:)

Where are you bro? Updates?

I'm six weeks into my first niche site following Project 24 blueprint. You should be way ahead of me. Curious about your stats.

Where are you bro? Updates?

I'm six weeks into my first niche site following Project 24 blueprint. You should be way ahead of me. Curious about your stats.

To tell the truth I have been lazy. Procrastinating and being absorbed into other projects. I am back and will have a post up very soon on the progress.

Where have I been?

I will not lie. I have been lazy when it came to this project. I changed jobs, got a cold and moved onto other fascinating projects. But that has all changed again and you know what is worswe than being lazy. A person who quits. Who cares that I wasted 3 months(well actually I do care but I can't do anything about that now). It is time to pick myself up, get motivated again and start pumping out the content and watching the income rise.

I didn't actually just start again today. I got moving slowly on self improvement and self development again last month in June and its only now that I am ready to revisit this project. I have added a blog post to my blog which outlines my Monthly review of June :

https://myactionplanforsuccess.com/june-2019-reflection-monthly-review/

This article shows why I have been away from the niche website business. I have been more focused on sports betting which I am doing really well in. I had spent a lot more time focused on that rather than this side project but I also was extremely lazy and procrastinated a lot. I believe I got into the "treadmill" of life and just woke up, worked, didn't think, watched tv/youtube, went to bed mode. I wasn't improving. I wasn't thinking. I was wasting away. I had not been exercising as its winter here and my energy levels were low.

That has all changed when I walked into my library (well I walked into the extra room where my book case is) and saw the self development books and I picked one up and started reading and the motivation returned.

I am currently reading Atomic Habits and its a great read for anyone who hasn't read it. It has taught me the difference between motion and action. Motion is things like this where I write about my progress, come up with ideas and put up plans about what I am going to do. Action is doing the necessary work to move forward on the project which for a niche website is writing /publishing content.

So the great thing is I am 6 days into July and sticking to my progress of an exercise routine and getting some writing done. A long way to go till the end of this month but I am hoping to instill the habit going forward.

Glad to be updating here again as I was avoiding coming here because I had felt like I had failed. But the great thing is I hadn't failed, I had just stalled and starting again allows me to move forward. I think I finally have my "Why?" that gurus talk about all the time. It took me a long time to work it out. My "Why?" is family. That should be obvious but I have distilled that down into exactly why it is my family and why its important and how I am responsible for it.

If your looking for some self improvement feel free to steal any of the ideas I write about, also feel free to challenge them.

That should do for this post but I will try and post at least once a month going forward on both the site and this forum. Maybe even more often.

For those who don't want to go to the blog here to read through it about the niche site (see end of that article) here is the important graphs:
