Building backlinks directly to GMB page?

the proper way is getting the business map address well advertised in google for that niche.

i don't know what way you lot doing it but that the proper way.

you can also push the niche up in the maps algo with pbn and web 2.0

that the two methods i have read that get good traffic .

How are people using the pbn's?

I recently built 40 pbn pages with relevant articles and the NAP on them, and most of the pages are indexed, but they haven't affected the gmb ranking.

Press Releases and PBN links, though I've just been recently testing those.

I just back linked the the GMB webpage (name-business[dot]site), seeing if that helps. As an added touch, I back linked the money site's services within the GMB website.

Slowly see improvements, trying a stronger PBN to see if better links make a stronger impact.

I don't think backlinks work for GMB. I've sent a lot of backlinks to my GMB and I see no effect. Now, citations are the only ones who I've seen have real power.
