For all the smokers in here

Yes. I'm also losing weight as well. No more KFC chicken for me!:weep:

Man, I hope you are doing better now. May I ask you to elaborate a little bit on your experience? Like what and how it happened, what does it feel like and stuff like that. Your post kind of makes me want to quit even more now. I ain't getting younger and I think it'll take toll on me at some point too. At least I want to know what to avoid.

Vaping really isn't inconvenient to be honest with coils buy a few at a time then buy more when your down to the last one (think of the coils as buying cigs you never bought one at a time) then buy a back up vape incase your main one breaks .It use an rta or RDA and build your own coils for penny's.
Smoked since 1996 gave up 4 years ago by vaping started on 18mg e juice worked my way down to now being only 0.5mg juice

To be fair, it depends on your daily life. In my line of work, vaping is super inconvenient, I move a lot and I broke my vaporizer countless times, it got wet and all that stuff. Plus I began to vape everywhere and anytime which lead me to excessive vaping because... I'd never felt like it's enough. I did 12mg and still. Not to mention all the leaks I had in my pocket etc. Not bashing on it, just not my cup of tea, even though I gave it a solid 4 month trial.

Since 12 years old, pack a day. Since 13 about gram of indoor high grade weed. (Later 2-5 grams of weed a day)
So stopping was a neccesity, since I dislike stuff like lung cancer and bad hygiene. Now I don't even drink and I workout, have a good diet (perfect diet in fact, all counted and such) and am the happiest of my life.

Awesome! You give us hope that we'll be able to achieve this someday.

Been clean for a couple of years now, was smoking for over 10 years before that, never really been a 40 sticks a day guy. I think I quit because someone on youtube said your lungs will start feeling cleaner, and I guess I'm feeling that. I do take an occasional drag though, quite rarely lately. The good thing is that I've lost the craving for it, so I guess I qualify for 'clean' now.

Look at pod systems mate really simple devices like the aspire breeze 2 battery is built in so you just charge it like a mobile phone and uses stock coils so you just screw them in no need to worry about wicking it ect .
These are not that accessible from where I am. But I think I got a plan, just have to learn to build my own coils, and get a backup vape. Batteries aren't a problem for me, since I don't vape too much.

to be honest building the coil is easy onc you get the hang of it even easier if you use a 3mm screwdriver to wrap it round. You tube ghost vapour and rip trippers for there coil building guides makes it so much easier watching someone or join a Facebook group like wicks and coils. Approved vapours or two girls one vape if you have any questions as people on them groups are only to happy to teach you how

I've heard about people who only smoke on occasions, and they never grew a craving for it. I think that's how cigarettes are supposed to be consumed. But getting totally clean is my goal

I'm vaping since 2010. Sometimes i smoke, when i'm on transit as no batteries allowed. But I've not smoked a single cigarette in the last 6 month and happy with vaping as it fulfill my nicotine craving.

I love watching rip trippers, haha. That guy is full of enthusiasm about vaping. I'll definitely join those groups, thanks for this!

You're on a good path my friend.

Fortunately I'm doing much better. I am lucky to live close by a hospital with an excellent cardiac unit.

Turned out 1 of my arteries was 99% blocked and I've had a stent inserted.

As for what it felt like, imagine an extremely heavy person sat on your chest to the point you cannot breathe, your arms feel like you've overdone things at the gym and you can't lift them and you feel like you haven't got the energy to fight anymore.
That's about as close as I can describe it. Fortunately I had my family with me. Had to wake them up because it all happened early hours of the morning. I woke up feeling like I had a severe case of indigestion which rapidly got worse.

Damn, that's heavy. Well I sincerely wish you a lot of health and I hope you won't forget this experience and won't come back to them bad habits. I know from my own experience, that we tend to forget bad experiences rather quickly before succumbing back into our old ways.

Thank you for sharing this!

i don't smoke because i see my friend who smoke i feel realy bad for them they can't even stop,
their health is bad they have problems of breathing.
be carefull of it try to do sport don't stay alone, be positive.

Smoked for 20yrs gave up when my mother passed away from cancer , but its still hard to say no when you have a few beers inside you .
I'm sorry for your loss. I feel you, man; I would suggest you bring a vape whenever your peeps get together to drink, they won't try to get you to smoke then, you just say you already got yourself a vape, worked out well for me so far.
