How long have you been smoking?
How did you quit smoking?
How long have you been clean?
Personal reasons for quitting smoking (other than getting healthier).
Things that prevents you from quitting.
Challenges faced while trying to quit.
Or maybe you're also struggling to quit smoking, share your experiences.

Around 14 years. Tried to quit many many times, with failure. Tried vaping instead, but that didn't stick for long ( very inconvenient ). Now I kind of managed to give up cigarettes and went with IQOS. Doesn't stink as much and you don't feel as dizzy afterwards.

The best thing that worked for me, in terms of quitting, was running. Once I started running and saw how incapable I was with all the coughing and stuff I immediately gave it up. That also had to do with the fact that I love challenges and that gave me stimulus to increase the distance/time everyday and the thought that smoking will decrease my performance kept me from smoking. That went well until I fucked up my foot ( couldn't even walk for couple of weeks ) which lead me back to smoking again. So that's that.

Job is stressful and a lot of colleagues smoke too, so that's my biggest challenge. I guess my will power isn't strong enough to resist the urges.

Smoked for about 30+ years. Quit 3rd January this year due to having a heart attack.

Surprising how almost dying makes you give up something you've been addicted to for such a long time!

i started smoking cigarettes in oct 2012 and quit it completely in dec 2017 (1 year sober)
and quit weed in jan 2016 (3 year sober)

i used to smoke cigarettes like a chimney. i was smoking it because of depression and whenever i feel lonely, and after every small work i do, i was rewarding myself with smoke.

i aint into cigratte but have been smoking sheesha thrice a day and its almost 4 years now ...No reason to quit yet xD

I smoked cigarette's for more than 2 years when I was in a 9to5 job and stopped 5 years ago when I started my own IM business. Didn't try after that and almost quit that along with alcohol. Now I'm smoking my weed for 5 years and not interested in quitting ;)

God I wish Vaping wasn't so inconvenient. I've been switching back and forth with vaping and smoking whenever my vape breaks down or needs coil replacement. Peer pressure really is a challenge when trying to quit smoking, but I can't blame them. The craving just won't stop!

I hope you are well now, man and take care of yourself always.

I never tried weed but this wins too.

Vaping really isn't inconvenient to be honest with coils buy a few at a time then buy more when your down to the last one (think of the coils as buying cigs you never bought one at a time) then buy a back up vape incase your main one breaks .It use an rta or RDA and build your own coils for penny's.
Smoked since 1996 gave up 4 years ago by vaping started on 18mg e juice worked my way down to now being only 0.5mg juice

A lot of other things in this beautiful word which you can use it than how you destroying your life . please left it and enjoying

ive been smoking for about 14 years, tried vaping, not the same. went back to smoking. smoking is hell expensive though and that kills my income

I want to buy a back up vape also, and I think vaping really is the thing that will make me quit smoking. But I still think its inconvenient for the common smoker. All that coil & wick stuff, having back-up vapes/batteries, charging the batteries, finding the juice you like, etc; most people wouldn't be able to maintain all that.

Look at pod systems mate really simple devices like the aspire breeze 2 battery is built in so you just charge it like a mobile phone and uses stock coils so you just screw them in no need to worry about wicking it ect .
