Time for another update as I keep pushing through these stages. Here is the trello board I had for Action Step Stage 8:



I put in a few more Grant videos this week as they are short enough to get through quickly and I am really enjoying him in the videos. I am getting new perspectives on things I already new about taking action and I am getting insights into his thought process and how he sells. Even though I am not in a sales role (I bet on sports) there is a lot I can take out of the videos.

So here were the actions taken :

• NCOME SCHOOL
  • Sign up to Hosting and Install Wordpress
  • Install Themes and Plugins
  • Setup Wordpress and change the default settings
  • Post my first article for SITE 1.
• TAI LOPEZ
  • Watch “Are you in the right business?”
• GRANT CARDONE
  • Watch “Take Massive Action”
  • Watch “The Four Pillars of Action”
  • Watch "Massive Action = New Problems"
  • Watch "Production Yields Results"
• OTHER ACTIONS
  • Prepare ACTION STEP 9 for the next round of actions.
  • Write a blog post (this one).

The important thing to note in this stages actions was that everything I had in pause is no longer paused. It was completed this step as I had content to post which I want google to notice as quickly as possible. I setup the site (nothing too hard or spectacular) and followed through on the incomeschool steps.

Tai's videos were again not him so I won't go into that too much as it was about passion, obsession and providing value to the customer. Nothing new and just another person reinforcing the same concept from a different angle. That is good thing (but I have already said it in this posts here) and if you want to read my notes from the video just check the blog post.

Grants videos are where my current interest lies but I need to remind myself to focus on the incomeschool steps. They want the first 21 steps completed in the first 30 days. I have completed 10 of the steps but the next 11 are all content generation.

Expectation from Income school for the site at the end of Month 1 is 0 organic traffic and 0 dollars earned so considering the site went up today I am write on track.

I have also started the measuring of results for the site. I will put the current days results in each post on BHW but the full results will be on my case study blog.

- Words = 2065

- UV = 0
- PV = 0
- Time on Site = N/A

Another action step done and completed. This is the completion of Action step Stage 9.



The tasks were pretty simple today:
- Tai's course was two videos
- Grants included four videos
- Incomeschool required content creation

So for Tai's videos once again they were bonus material thrown in. One of the videos was by a youngeter called Casey Adams and the information presented was average at the best. I suspect this was because he was only 16 years old. I didn't enjoy the video but I am sure he will improve as he progresses with his speaking.

Grant's videos were about 10X your life which is basically doing ten times the amount of work necessary so people think you are going nuts. If people think you are obsessed with something then you are probably on the right track.

Income school was just putting out content. I added almost another 2000 words in an article and got it posted with a few images.

The metrics are:
Articles : 2
Words : 4046
Traffic : 1 UV / 2 PV

I frequently watch Income School's YT videos. @PaulSmithAUS are you learning enough info from their Project 24 course (which isn't explained for free from them on YT) to justify the price of the course? ..... Anyway, I'm definitely following this journey. Keep up the great work!

Scrox, 99% of what they have in the course is available in their youtube channel. I would say the things you get most out of the course are:
- A defined set of processes (60 steps)
- A defined expectation of traffic and money per month for 24 months.
- The exact template for their posts.
- The ability to ask questions in their members forum which other members may answer of they may answer for you.
- The forum has a lot of people sharing their sites (and thus their niches) if you are stuck for ideas.

Apart from that you can get most of the information from their youtube channel.

I would think its the measures and then the monetization. At the moment I am not doing any monetization at all. I will add that later. The measures for traffic are just starting to be written up now. If there is something else just let me know and I will see what I can add.

Yes and No. I am following the Income school course step by step and they cover monetization in step 60 (out of 60 steps). Right now I am at Step 11 so its a long way to go before we start monetizing it. The traffic is non-existent right now and the expectation is it will take 3 months before any traffic starts to flow. Its a long road but its a method to follow and Im following it. The reason there is also no traffic yet is that I am just posting content on the site and that is all. There is no promotion yet so there is no traffic. Promotion starts in Step 38 which is sometime in Month 2 of the course. According to the course I should complete steps 1-21 in the first month and steps 22-41 in month 2 and steps 42-60 in month 3. Traffic of 5 daily PV's should start in month 4. As I said its a long process but it looks solid and I see no reason why it shouldn't work if I follow the steps exactly as laid out in their course.

Current costs are basically the hosting package (which I already had) and the domain name so I've spent the equivalent of a couple of coffees.

Time to hit the content again. Im almost finished my next article already.

That sounds a hell LOT of work. But hey, just what others say, hard work, pays off big time. And there's no such thing as an overnight success so, good luck to you bud! Yeah it is a lot of work but that is OK. If I am doing stuff then I am taking action and that is where most people fail. They read, read and read. They get stuck reading things and not doing things. Its what you do that reaps results (good or bad) and with results you can adjust and improve. I am going to follow their course straight up first time through and then modify it on another site. I think there are a bunch of modifications that can be done that would help it produce quicker and rank quicker without using black hat techniques. Thanks for following.

I am back with another update. I have completed stage 10 of my action plan for success. Here are the topics covered:

  • I realized I missed the video in the top directory of Tai's course. I will have to go back and watch it but its almost 3 hours long.
• GRANT CARDONE
  • Watch “Capitalize on the Sale”
  • Watch “The First Rule of Selling”
  • Watch “The Agreement Challenge”
• OTHER ACTIONS
  • Update time inventory
  • Update SITE 1 Metrics for lead and lag measures
  • Prepare ACTION STEP 11 for the next round of actions.
  • Write a blog post (this one).

There are a couple of really important points in this update and I want to highlight them to you.

1. The Agreement Challenge is frustrating but so worthwhile. Basically you have to agree with every single person you talk to for 24 hours. I am up to attempt 3 and struggling. I am finding great benefits from it though and learning so much about myself.

2. Tai is a brilliant sales person. If you have read the book "Influence" you will identify his techniques instantly. If you haven't read this book then make sure you grab a copy and start reading it. I identify several of his techniques in my post and why his videos do so well.

An Update for today:

Mid work week and its hard juggling three things at once. I work full time, am a professional sports bettor and am creating these niche sites. My sportsbetting requires a bit of work at this time of the month as it requires reviews, adjustments and betting analysis. It takes priority as I am making a lot of money out of that.

Then there is family time and exercise and eventually some sleep.

I am working on another article for my site and when that is completed and is posted I will put up the review of the steps.

A slow down was always expected mid-week but I do like to be going as hard and as fast as possible.
