I just found an expired domain with below metrics, should I buy and redirect it to my money site ? It is in the same niche as my current money site.

Pls guide.

@Nargil will no doubt be along to give you his thoughts, but the TF seems low.

Is Trust flow the only thing which we have to keep in mind while registering expired domain? I thought RD and incoming links are more important and hence selected this domain. I am new to this so guidance from BHW members is highly appreciated.

Yep, as said above, TF seems to be really low. The TF / CF ratio is not that good. That's not the only thing to look at but this domain doesn't seem that interesting.

Don't go with the metrics just check the quality of the links and anchor text if it has some good ones then its a win

If this is a top TLD domain that's not from auctions, I can assure you, it's not fine. If you find RD100+ majestic clean domain with available free registration, I will send you over $100 just for the sake of a miracle. :)

Whats ahrefs DR out of curiosity? I've seen TF and DR vary wildly.

Ya I think you gotta go for the auctions, expired domains is like the garbage pile that nobody wants.

Thanks for guiding me and sharing some wonderful links to study @MisterF after reading all the post and specially the one written by @Nargil I dig it more dipper and found another top level domain in my niche, below are its metric and more info about the same.

Redirecting RD20 domain won't make any difference whatsoever. Try RD500+ and then you might actually see some results.

Thanks for quick reply, I will try to see if I can find something like that and share with you here.

Seeing a few metrics won't tell me anything anyway mate. :)

Referring domains is most important - the number and the domains themselves. At the end of the day, thats basically what you are buying : backlinks from those sites.
Remember all of those metrics - TF, CF, DA, DR etc. are only to give you a rough idea. They can often be manipulated, and even when they are not, they are not actually used by Google. So they only mean so much.

If you find a domain thats got 100 referring domains that are all authority sites, or strong sites closely related to your niche, then its a golden nugget.

Today i found many expired domains with TF and CF above 20, RD 50+, but the problem is they are not in my niche, they are totally in different niche. I am in health niche and the domains I found are in tourism and ecommerce stores, will they be of any help in pushing my ranking upwords ?

Maybe, maybe not. Nobody can tell you conclusively, but it does not sound like a great start.

Instead of spending hours trying to find a cheap expired domain, why not just buy a domain from a reseller or using a fresh one that you know is clean. The time you will save can be used to write content and build backlinks that will be worth more than the expired domain very soon.
