- Instant articles has the general advantage of being loaded very fast on mobile trough FB.
- The monetizing would be the same as just putting adsense on that site, just being FB ads or both.
- The Fanpage is the main traffic source

Do I get it right?

Yeep, that's the key, if you know what your readers want you are already one step further. And as they keep engaging with your content you are making $$ just believe in the process...

Yes, IA is like google amp pages, they load super fast, got ads that are being served to your readers and you are getting paid from impressions not ad clicks (means that people don't need to click on your ads in order for you to make money). Monetization would be as simple as creating articles in your wordpress site>IA plugin converts your article to ia, you get articles at publishing tools tab, you share articles in your main traffic source

Im afraid that you would need an facebook page to get IA, you can get a content locker that force your visitors to like or share your facebook post/page. In this way you grow your facebook page and in meantime you can monetize this traffic through adsense or other adsense relatives ad companies, you have plenty of them just google adsense relatives and boom you can get alot of ideas & networks..
