Looking for academic proxies

Greetings,

I am looking for some special stuff. There is no request part in the marketplace, so I ask for your advice, or please redirect me in the correct forum section.

I need a small set of proxy list regulary updated, which are on academic (university) networks (preferably in USA, Canada west-EU countries). It should be no secret, that I require those to reach some academic research databases for scientific purposes. So this might be not exactly a SEO themed requirement, but it seems there are lots of people how are proficient with proxies here, and maybe can help me.
So I am willing to buy these proxies regulary, but I am also looking for tips/advice how to gather those efficiently.

Currently I use scrapebox harvester with some good public sources, and filter those with a custom test on jstor.org (academic site, which has a custom header, when opened on an academic network). Perviously I used my custom made excel table with ASN identification, to find university proxies. But none of these methods are good enough. I can barely find proxies, which are on prominent university campuses, which have access to lot of databases.

Hi. Your request is very very specific if not telling more.
Basically one way You already using that is some inficed PC from universities what is turned into public proxies.
Or other way is to look on some DSL line proxies. Those cost good, but are very high quality.
You just have to contact them and ask if they have some DSL lines from universities/schools.

You can ask @proxygo no idea if this is something he has or is willing to do, but if he wanted to do it he is more then capable.

This sounds interesting. There are some specific universities I want a proxy to... It would HELP gaining access with certain DATABASES.

Hi! I can not reach you with pm, because the forum does not let me. What do you suggest? I have tried to port scan before, but it did not work out too well. I am sure you are more proficient than me. What do you need for that to work? IP ranges?
