Happy New Year to Adsense Lovers

7 months of active blogging. However, the domain was aged. I acquired it in 2014 blogged for few months but could not make anything. I ditched it and only came back to it in April last year.

That's great! Keep it up! Best wishes for your 2019!

You are doing great, well done, I will appreciate if you share some tips here :D

i have started my blog 6 months back. But i am only managed to have 50 pageviews a day.
what am i doing wrong?
I have few questions:-
1. If i only keep adding content without seo, i will suppose to get natural organic traffic?
2. How to have 50k pageviews a day?
Thank you.

Simple solution. Focus on the mobile version of your site. Not just making it responsive but optimize for mobile. Google is doing more regarding mobile and your site should be well optimized for the mobile audience.

Do a test here https://testmysite.withgoogle.com to check the speed. If it is nothing close to 3 seconds you need to optimize more. Enable amp but there is a trick with AMP. Don't place ads at the very top but after the 1st paragraph because on AMP loads content first and Adsense loads slowly and the add might not be visible after the user scrolls past the ad.

After that. Start placing responsive mobile ads (Though they don't earn more, however, it is a start). The best Ad Size on mobile is 300x250 - There is a way you can force all the ads to this size and it is adsense friendly https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6307124?hl=en

I place a maximum of 4 Ads per page on mobile: 1 after the first paragraph, the other after 5th paragraph, next one at the end of the post and the last one at the top of the footer.

I don't use auto ads on mobile, they don't earn much to me and I realized enabling them they lower my CPC.

Use the experiment feature on Adsense Dashboard

But most important aim for more than 1500 users per day on your blog.
Hey bro, I have fixed that, but the issue am facing now is, if I add Adsense to my blog the speed test jump to 9s but if I remove the Adsense it went back to 4s, please any tips on how to fix that?

Wow, thats a good goal for this shiny new year brow!

With the best luck to all of us!

I'm targeting some low key words now, and the traffic comes from facebook groups (software developer communities don't ban links, if it's good content)

This year I'm going to restart a old blog of mine, and a I wish a get more traffic there!

I know that a site's loading speed matters, but how will that help you to make more than $0.03 per day?.... You should be focused on getting more traffic, preferably organic traffic. I know social traffic can make you money (adsense arbitrage), but I have never been successful with social traffic.

You are also running a tech blog, so some of your visitors are likely using ad-blockers. So you need more traffic to increase your odds of someone not using ad-blocker and likely to click on your ad.

Or you can use that ad blocker checker, that asks to you disable it before you read the articles.

I don't know if it works well, every time I see it, a quit the blog post and go try to find another one (lol)

Exactly the reason why I don't have to use that, am trying to build my blog and not to kick my readers on their balls and make them exit my blog to go read same stuff from other blogs....

I think it's good to use that when your blog is hitting millions of page views.

Hello, just a couple of questions if you have time to answer them. I am about to start an adsense blog as well :

1- You say you have optimized your site and theme for mobile but also say you dont use Adsense fot the mobile version ? is that correct ?
If so I assume most of the profits are coming from the Desktop version ?
2- Which Mobile responsive theme would you recommend ?

Thanks !

Is it just me or is there a huge drop in cpc in January?

Stop focusing on AdSense
If that's your AdSense earnings (I got that pic isn't real) and it's only ad network, you probably lost $900k :)
And if you run other ad networks, I am sure this earning would be the lowest among other networks

I was doing $1000 a couple months back and someone here adviced me that I should duplicate the website. Target almost the same keywords with another website. That really helped since I knew what works and that doubled the revenue.

Wouldn't duplicating be penalized?

Very curious on this tactic.
