Does a crypto hit the zero zone, would it flip?

What he said. You made a bad investment. Coins go to zero for two reasons.

1. Scam/ponzi; owners closed up shop and ran off with money; SEC
2. The project itself failed for any number of reasons; poor leadership, no real market for goods/services, couldn't turn a profit, investment funds ran dry, etc.

Most memorable 'went to zero' coin I can think of Bitconnect

Even after the project shut down, the coins were still worth a few dollars for quite a while, and now even though they aren't listed on any exchanges, the value seems to be stuck at 0.67c, but in actuality completely worthless.

I think in 2018, we're going to see quite a few shitcoins go to zero. Especially after SEC brought down the hammer on ICOs.

Why don't you mention the name of that coin ? Now that you have invested and value is about zero, I will suggest you to just wait for prices to recover. Still possible.

That is why you should research anything you put money into. Think about why you chose that coin and not a different one when investing. If you did it there must be a reason, if you think it failed to do what you wanted you can cash out and think again about investing your money.

It would be nice if you could mention in which coin you have invested. Have you bought it in ICO or through some other sort of offer? Without these details no one is able to say whether you have been scammed or there is or was some issue with project.

there are coins with nearly zero volume and no real price still the high end product is being developed.Question is if they will be able to secure funding for operations for next 12 months and if they can reach the masses

You shouldn't be investing in something you haven't done research in.. Right now bitcoin is in a rough spot, I think the hype is over.

We worked with many ICOs, lots of great legit projects, super-strong teams, good concepts - but an eternity of shitcoins reaching out trying to get promo every week. Some of the funniest things I've ever seen were the websites of the worst scam ICO's, literally the digital equivalent of a 4-yr old fingerpainting
