The setup couldn't be easier. You only have to synchronize a dropbox folder with and add the list in one of the slots for system-wide target URLs (usually "verified").
It comes with a clear instruction in PDF form and - a nice additional touch - a few thousand working free proxies. If you are serious about GSA SER you probably have good private proxies and have scraped a few thousand free proxies yourself, but you also know: one can never have enough proxies ;-)
The URL list is organized by engines (the GSA standard). When I started, it contained over 7000 unique domains for 77 engines.
Plus: 34 of the domains have a MOZ DA of >= 90, over 1000 have a DA >=50. The median is 27 across all of them. So if you only wanted to go for best quality, you'd still have a very long list.
Minus: There's quite a bit of spammed domains in there, so I advise to switch filters on (got a fair share of sex, pharma and casino links on some of the URLs).
I've started a new projected with only that list and a good set of new emails and articles, and after 3 hours I had 2750 verified backlinks.
After 24 hours (not constant running of this one project of course) with spam filters, I have 5280 verified links from 1086 unique domains (5 with DA >90, 250 with DA50+).
A very good result IMHO.
It's nice to see that the list is constantly updated (the dropbox file change messages flare up every minute), so the service will probably be even better when you lay your hands on it.
Room for improvement: maybe split the list into two right from the start - a spam-free and a complete list?
Maybe add a few other categories (it's heavy on articles and guestbook at the moment, but has no social bookmark or web 2.0, for instance)
Overall:
This will speed up link building with GSA massively for you. And if you know what you're doing with GSA, you can get some excellent value out of it.
