Joining as VIP Jr questions

Hi,
I'm wondering if it's ok to change my user name if I join up as VIP jnr?
I created this account years ago but no longer deal in that area of SEO, so would rather a different name.

If I join as VIP Jnr, is there a post count requirement I need to make before I can post to some of the forum sections?

I read an old post, the person thought that The Lounge forum didnt count towards their 100 posts, is that true? I couldn't find clarification on this.
