As you may have heard, Microsoft is going to power it's browser product using Google Chrome Code.

For those of us who broke our keyboards in frustration having to try to make IE6 work and in f**king way resembling a website, this must give you that warm tingly feeling inside .

For those of us who worry that Chrome is now too strong in the browser market, well, send those donations to Firefox .

It's not important who controls repository because you see all changes in each commit. Who controls Github? Microsoft
Also, you can install any version, set as your fork, core and work on this indepentend

I really liked Edge, but couldn't use it because of that "Set Tab Aside" feature. The button was too easy to misclick and throw away all your tabs, it served no purpose and it wasn't possible to disable.

Other than that, Edge performed best for me easily.

But if the big G doesn't like your idea, it simply tells you to get knicked and rejects the request. It's great to see the code, just like it's great to look at the marvels of slave labour in Pyongyang, North Korea.

Chromium is based on BSD and MIT licences. It means, Microsoft can take whole code, delete all "Google" info from inside and use as own, keeping only info about developer names.
In any point. Also you forgot who is the owner of whole Github now... Microsoft, so Google cannot control own repository and tell Microsoft "don't use"

I don't think so because Google is happy now. They cannot control Microsoft browsers of course, but they can create internet trend, if all Chromium based browsers will follow the trend, Microsoft's browser too if it's not against Microsoft business.

Firefox is dead in my opinion and not because Google domination but because slow browser. Their browser is just slow as hell.
