Only on-page seo. A 1400 words article. The weird thing is, I don't even target that keyword. It just happened to rank for it. I as well have no idea why and how that works.

Actually, it has 1 backlink, probably inbound link.

If your boss only wants high DA then that's just sad. DA is just a metric. You can easily manipulate it by pointing a lot of links to different pages of your website.

An even worse, not even related to Google. It's a metric created by Moz and it should be used only as a sometimes helpful tool but it doesn't really matter when it comes to ranking, because it has nothing to do with Google algorithms.
