BH does have its place, but that place is absolutely not in the middle of an agency working on client's sites.

Many BH methods are not safe for long-term sites, and applying untested methods to client's sites is a great way to bring on hefty liabilities.

If you're hoping to apply your knowledge, you'd be better suited getting clients yourself. If you do choose to work for another agency instead, this time you should take the time to learn why things are done the way they are, and any improvements to the script should be nothing more than suggestions to the boss.

Obviously he didn't hire you to do your thing, he hired you to do his thing. Unless you discussed and got permission first, why did you imagine you have free reign on how the job gets done? When you're an employee you do what you're told, not whatever you think should be done.

While I completely agree to this, I believe any good company should give it's employees more freedom on the process (but ofcourse, there should be rules & regulations), especially seo and programming. The top level should focus on top level decisions and not on low level technicalities imho.

You're hearing just one side of the story. There is something called Business Process Management and it works in every field.

The company's owner may have had a process in place which the 4 others worked on before OP was hired. Within 2 weeks of joining, OP tried influencing these processes without the consent of his superiors. This is SEO - there is no right or wrong. There is no black or white. Everything is grey.

You cannot influence a company's process while you're still in probation (2 weeks for fuck's sake).

The ideal way would have been to present his ideas to his boss, get a green light and then go ahead.

People work in dead-end and regular jobs because of the security. The salary credited text that comes in at the 1st of every month. Not everyone is built to be an entrepreneur. It's a world full of uncertainties and most people cannot cope with it.

Initiatives are welcome in every organization - from FMCG to big name consulting firms to IT conglomerates. There are several stories of lower level employees influencing the business process and being rewarded for it. But even to influence a process, is a process. Every modification in the proverbial engine, requires a thorough threat analysis and a green-light from management.

Could not agree more! He cannot just go in there and try to change everything without consent. Presenting his ideas to the management would have been the right thing to do.

Let me clear thing as mod said, I'm not try to teach them or making any kind of friendly environment there. I'm just doing my job. Whatever projects they gave me I'm completing that. The SEO work they are doing is only copy paste work and they are spamming the main sites with large number of backlinks with them, because they even don't have any idea their sites will be lose ranking with that work, That's what I tried to help team members.
And thing remain is teaching them is, I never offer anyone to follow my methods or do my work. They are attracted to me and asking how to do work, stratigy etc. I don't have any intention to open classes there..

You are right, but I can't stop thinking about it. By profession I'm engineer. I left my field behind to make career in IM industry and I rejected my engg. Jobs to do career in it. It was my first company I joined and this happned.. thats why I can't decide what to do, Sorry to disturb you all friends..

I'm sorry to hear about this! just relax and take it as a learning process. You have left an engineering career to do IM which you seem you are more passionate about and that you were so excited to do your job and got fired up and started implementing new ideas in just very short period of time in which this is a NO NO. Why not call your previous boss and tell him this fact that you meant no harm and you were so excited and thought this is how you should do it and you really love working for him if he gives you a 2nd chance, 90% he may not give you a 2nd chance but by talking to him you will get some closer to this "firing" and learn from it. People get fired every day and this is does not mean you are not up to the challenge but it means this job was not for you. With your next job do not bundle with other workers, do not be friend with them, do not teach them how to do things, be quite and watch and listen, if they stayed for years in their job then the are doing something right, copy that "something" never give more than what you are asked to do, at least until you build that "TRUST" and it takes at least 2 years for that trust to be built.
Don't feel down, you know your worth, just find something else.

I believe its time to move on, hopefully you have enough saved to live a little but if not i would suggest go out and look for another job because if not your money will fly fast and you will be left with nothing. Starting your own business is fine but remember it is extremely difficult to even make your first dollar

By profession I'm engineer.

Go back to your engineering gig, get some SEO clients on your own and build your business.

I'm not a huge fan of part time SEOs running around but one cannot usually start a business and expect instant returns and, unless they have some liquid capital, they need to do the day job and side gig to build up a sustainable business.

I'd be kicking the dust of the old job off my shoes and plowing ahead.

I decided now I'll find another job for stable income. This time I'll go with my engineering field. After doing job I'll start to take SEO works from local clients and keep connected with IM work. I'll make my digital marketing business successful no matter what, I'll make my company bigger than that. This is how I'll take my revenge..
