Whatsapp to contact potential customers ?

Hello !

I do business in a niche in the French language and I am very lucky to own a pretty huge database of potential customers for the niche with their phone numbers.
Whatsapp is very popular in the French-speaking countries in Europe and I guess that more that 2/3 of the phone numbers would lead me to a Whatsapp potential conversation.

My question is : do anyone know if there are limits and what are the limits :
- How much people I could add and contact per day ? I guess if I am adding and contacting 50 people a day with a different message I would be fine ? (Each potential customer is definitely worth it even if it would be a lot of work)
- Most important... from what amount of ''blocked-by-potential-customers'' could I be banned of Whatsapp? I do understand that if many people are blocking me, I put myself in danger of being banned indefinitely ?

I get text spam but surprisingly I don't get spam on whatsapp. I think whatsapp is pretty good at blocking accounts that send 100s of messages to non-reciprocal contacts I guess.

I think that it make consumers unhappy to receive ad messages through Whatsapp. Perhaps you can use the time who you spent to reach them on Whatsapp to another way of marketing.

I guess this is why limiting myself to let's say 40 or 50 per day should be fine. But I am not sure at all that would still keep me safe :/

Yes, but since I only have their phone number (I also have their email but it's, as you know, very difficult to not fall into spam) ... its probably much more convenient to contact them through Whatsapp than directly by phone call / messages.

I am surprised overall there seem to be a big lack of information about this subject though.

1. You can add all your customers to phonebook and them will appear in WhatsApp, there are no limits or bans for that.
2. I would not recommend sending over 50 messages from one WhatsApp account per day. And the best number is 25.
3. The best way to send messages is to start a dialogue, not send just 1 ad-message with a link.

don't use your own whatsapp account , if they block your number you wont be able to use whatsapp with your number again.
buy another phone number and start using it , they can block you after 10 messages or less,
it's part of Facebook, so don' t angry them

i get holiday deals everyday on whatsapp, not sure what program they use but i just added them as a contact to get them

One company that does it is Whatsbroadcast and you have to actively Opt-In with your phone number, so this won't work for OP.
