So I'm pretty sure amazon says not to post aff links straight on fb. (can someone clarify this please)

If that is the case could the link go to my website and that page would automatically redirect to the amazon page maybe even after a 5 second delay. Would this break amazon tos?

Cheers in advance

This would break Amazon TOS and is (I assume) fraud, which isn't allowed here.

I'm not sure about the fraud as they clicked the link to get the amazon product in the first place, could you explain?? :)

lmao this isn't fraud. I don't know what the hell the guy is talking about. However, it's against Amazon TOS and there's a chance they will close your account if you get caught. I say it's a 50-50 chance.

"wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain." - Google

"In law, fraud is deliberate deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain" - Wikipedia

"an act of deceiving or misrepresenting" - Merriam Webster

Maybe you're right. I'm not suggesting it's anything serious, but if I link someone to example.com they're intending to go to example.com, not to amazon.com to make you money.

even if they don't catch you redirecting from FB through your site - they can ask for the logs from your site to check where the traffic is coming and how long it stays on your site (but this happens usually on big volumes)
so your idea might work if you keep a low profile.

It's a shame about the automation been against the tos. Will have to think of a different way.

Long story short my wife is the perfect demo graphic for my niche but she's like not a chance I would click another Web page "there always fake or scams"

Any other suggestion to make the page have trust when there is no trust :)

Cheers again

amazon bans accounts for this and calls it 'auto-tagging sessions'.

it is a greedy company owned by one of the greediest man on the planet. oh solar system because he is going spaceside and he doesn't plan on giving alms to those poor alien plebeians.:alien::alien::suspicious:

May I ask you all politely: what the fuck are you talking about?

Where in their TOS is mentioned you are not allowed to share on twitter or facebook?

If they ban your account it is not because of posting on social media. It is something about the way you do it.

Otherwise, you wouldn't see this on Amazon as an affiliate:

OP is asking whether or not automatically redirecting to amazon is allowed. and the answer is it is not and will get him banned.

Shortening with amzn.to and sharing on social media is sooooooo obviously allowed.:anyway::rolleyes:

If you read even OP's first sentence you will understand why I posted that.

There are different types of posts on FB: your own Facebook posts, group and page posts, and Facebook Ads (which can include boosted page posts). You are allowed to post Amazon links to Facebook (as long as you're not spamming someone else's page or group), but you are not allowed to directly link to Amazon in a FB Ad. That includes a boosted page post.

No you can't. Because Amazon affiliate program terms of service requires you to value add to potential buyer experiences aka providing content in writing to entice users to buy before they can be directed to the offer.

Dear,

Thank You for giving me your time.
