xrumer and ISP question

Completely Unrelated to Question - So many people fail to understand that traffic alone is not your biggest concern, converting that traffic to the fullest extent is. Get that figured out first and than scale it up.

dude if u r going to go all out with xrumer, get urself some exclusive proxies to bypass any download limit and cover ur ass. check out packetflip dot com for some good proxies. hope it helps

Absolutely agree :)

However when I find a niche that I can dominate, I want to be ready with the tools to blast that niche. I found some products that convert on adwords but sadly adwords is not an option currently.

Always trying out new things because I find if I keep doing the same things, I get the same results ;)

OK I will give you a proper answer!

If you are in the UK and your local exchange has been unbundled then get Sky! If you already have Sky TV then its only 10 quid a month and they officially dont limit your downloads etc. Other than that I have use O2 in the UK who have AUP but you can do a few hundred GB no problem

Now this being said Xrumer really uses some bandwidth, you can max out your connection 24/7 no problem. I have used close to 100GB in a day before now on a 100mbit connection....

What I plan to do is figure out how to make money using xrumer and seNuke and ramp it up to an industrial scale using both licences at the same time, overnight etc.

Thanks :)

Oh and you will never see 'industrial scale' on your home ISP ... on a dedicated server you can be running all 1024 threads (max Xrumer allows right now) and still be under 50% load... your home PC and DSL will never allow that.

and as SEnuke has no project management facilities then setting that up for fire and forget it not really possible... not easily anyway :(

This will not bypass your download limits... at best if everything is encrypted your ISP will not know what you are doing, but they will still see the volume of traffic.

Thanks for this, I was going to check that out but you've answered the question. I am going to change ISP anyway.

What issued do think the isp would have with xrumer as you are not sending out spam emails? If I hide the activity using a vpn, will this slow anything down or limit the amount of threads in xrumer?

thanks

Get a dedicated server to run Xrumer on with an unmetered connection. Just be sure you ask if they're alright with Xrumer before you pay.

I charge $220 a month and offer unlimited bandwith for Xrumer.

You can order a server here. http://demya.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=70&products_id=195

On an average day, my servers do between 20-40Gb's of downloading because it takes a lot of bandwith and cpu resources to decipher captchas.

On a home DSL account you are not going to notice much speed loss, mainly because its SO slow in the first place. :)

I got a 10TB package on data for my server, so while its not unlimited pretty near unlimited as far as actual use goes.

Techincally your UK ISP should not care as you should not be breaking the law etc... BUT as with any big company if they get complaints I am sure they wiill just cut you off or throttle you etc. no big ISP is going to stick up for the little mans right to forum spam :D

You mean per customer? I got through about 20gig one night on my home broadband.

Yes, that refers to per server. Imagine downloading 80 of Hollywood's best films (each movie being 500mb's). That's the power of using a dedicated server 24/7 as opposed to DSL.

Remember, using a good DSL accounts costs you (with phone/cable bills) about $60 a month. Then add a computers electricity running 24/7 which costs you about $30 a month. Note that most ISP's limit you on bandwith. I don't limit customers on bandwith.

Did I mention the noise and heat involved in running a computer 24/7 at home? Renting a server from me saves you the efforts of buying a P4 3.2Ghz Dual Xeon Server.

The fact that I charge $220 a month is pretty decent considering the alternative of using your own computer 24/7 for Xrumer. Fact is, if your going to run Xrumer 24/7, you wont really have resources to run other applications at the same time - so in other words, Xrumer requires it's own computer.

Finally - the real reason you want to host with me is the fact that I provide you with free Zlink db's and I'm outside of US Jurisdiction so lawsuits for Xrumer activity don't apply. :)

I host for about 70% of the Xrumer community and Alex (Botmaster) sends me most of my customers directly.

Pretty Decent?! No, the fact that you only charge $220 for what you offer is FUCKING AMAZING! That's why I ordered yesterday, with the server specs, the unlimited bandwidth, and the fact it is out of US jurisdiction for only $220 a month is beyond belief. SharePro, you're practically giving the servers out like candy. Plus, your support is amazing (You were up to 6AM your time on Skype yesterday, which is fantastic).

There's also a cheap alternative. You can with volume drive and get a dedicated server for under $100 :)

Actually this is ridiculously over priced for what he's offering. You can find plenty of faster servers for around $100. Shop around first.

Yea i agree, there are dedicated servers out there for $60 per month w/ 2000gigs/m of bandwidth..and yes fast and reliable. However that's a box w/ windows..yuck. (10bucks more you can get 1.5gig ram)

Also you can get a Linux box for $35/month these days. And no I am not a hosting company..just been around a long time.
