xrumer and ISP question

Yea i agree, there are dedicated servers out there for $60 per month w/ 2000gigs/m of bandwidth..and yes fast and reliable. However that's a box w/ windows..yuck. (10bucks more you can get 1.5gig ram)

Also you can get a Linux box for $35/month these days. And no I am not a hosting company..just been around a long time.

You need a windows box to run xRumer ;)

You install vitualbox on the linux box even if it's not optimal ;-)

Finally - the real reason you want to host with me is the fact that I provide you with free Zlink db's and I'm outside of US Jurisdiction so lawsuits for Xrumer activity don't apply.

Cheers,
SharePro

I am not sure about the db's yet since I am still in RND figuring out how I can use Xrumer to actually produce 'results before I buyJ' Its not the money of the app for me, it?s the time and energy it takes to turn a buck.

However being outside US jurisdiction alone is worth the price imo. That said most won?t ever need to worry about that since most wont ever do the volume of traffic ever to be a threat. However for the 2% er's out there, this is a no brainer?

Anyone who bought autoposterdeluxe for CL saw them get slapped with a lawsuit pronto. Site taken down and all ?paying? members pretty much left as orphans..

I am not trying to promote this guy at all, I just wanted to justify my opinion a little further. This is not just about a cost of one measly server -if you plan on getting into blackhat in a big way.

There are severs all over the world you can use... as I said in another post its not the cost of Sharepro servers thats terrible its the performance. You get a slow server with slow connection.

For less money you can have a dual quad core Xeon with 16gb RAM on Gigabit from a non-US company, shop around a bit....

@ waystar
Do you really think you can have legal trouble if you use xrumer even in US jurisdiction????
As far as i know there is nothing illegal using xrumer! illegal is send out spam EMAILS not to post in forums. I bet you won't find any laws even in US which prohibits forum spam.
I run xrumer from my home without any proxies never got any complaint from my ISP and I don't worry that I could have any legal trouble using xrumer.

Umm never used the word 'illegal.' Closest I came the that word was 'slapped with a lawsuit.'

If you are hurting anyone's bottom line who has deep pockets be prepared for retaliation, which can takes many forms..

The main problem you willl find is many US companies have TOS which prohibit automated forum posting etc. As such they just shutdown your server for TOS violations.

Those outside of the US seem to be a bit more liberal.

The name of the game is to tell the company what you are doing before you signup and see what they say (though in the past I did have one company change their TOS to stop Xrumer being allowed after a few months :) )

There are plenty of companies out there who could not care less about Xrumer use.
